^^ I hear ya, xmyart but IMHO a sign of how grown up we are is whether we can interact with those with different opinions and beliefs than our own. Bernard likes fox hunting, I don't. But he seems a decent bloke and makes me smile. I'm sure if we dug deeper on this forum we could find something about everyone to dislike... I try to find things in people to like and there's plenty in bernard's posting that makes me smile...
To be fair, i agree fully. He has been quite funny, and even the last 2 are kinda funny.
But as a Vegetarian (due to being a soft little animal loving hippie, see i have a nice side too :-) ) I was, to be fair NEVER EVER EVER EVER going to leave that go by unnoticed.
And yep as an adult i do leave a lot go by without paying it too much attention. But i am unlikely to step away from my belief that this is NOT the actions of someone protecting anything, its outright animal cruelty. AND SAVAGERY.
Are hounds not dogs? i was under the impression it was a generic category and that all hounds are dogs, but not all dogs are hounds. Again, maybe i dont "understand" this either!!
Xymart I know, I know but he's a country fellow and all that what I am wondering with his love of chickens and a Name like Bernard and if he says beauafull whether its the Bernard Mathews. His love of factory chickens could even be worse than his dislike of foxes.
Bernard behave and anyway Fat Paople do pay more tax as they eat more, drink more and smoke more as well as buying bigger chairs -35 your on your way back.
I respect any Vegematarian for their beliefs, but just try a steak, you know you want to, i tried soya and its not for me.
Its Hounds.
Fat people use more oxygen / take up more space and perspire more as they tend to eat fast so works up a sweat, they also spend more time with the fridge door open so theres more energy consumption.

If you feel so strongly then become a HS rather than trying to bully what you might think is an easy target on the internet.Just recently you are coming across as a silly, shouty angry person
Bernard, I think your efforts to curry favour with the masses by spouting popularist dogma in an effort to increase your respect level are a bit over the top. Have some self respect man. ;D

Just stating my opinion CG, and to be fair, i havnt shouted i dont think. you on the other hand seem to be suggesting im not entitled to do that?
Me and bernard are bantering i think. You however are being a bit overly direct in this instance. And in truth heading for insulting mate.

Wrong there BB, if you would care to join the next Hunt as a follower just give the Tenbury Hunt a shout for dates.
Cheers for the PMs but even i dont rate Hunting Fat People as sport, the lardys wouldnt last long enough to break a Horse into a sweat.
so funny a thread - everytime i read the word fox, being a movie buff, i think of that movie, Fantastic Fox - so funny - loved that movie... i think there was an art print or poster of it that i missed out on, lol...
Calling someone a c*** for having a pro-hunting poster up and I'm being overly direct?
Sorry if I read it wrong and it's all banter (genuine)
Simple error i guess. I think if you look that was plural CG, rather than singular. Therefore a general statement re fox hunters as a whole, and not directly aimed at bernard. The rest is banter.
He was being provocative posting it, thats a fair assumption. I did then kick the crap out of his respect for 2 days, while he was banned it turned out. Bit harsh, but it made me laugh.
Bernard was so bothered by this that one of his first comments was about fat people paying more tax!! fuel meet fire as they say, its just a game matey. Read through it CG, its pretty clear neither of us are going to be offended, were playing the same game from different sides. Dont worry yourself dude its all for fun.
i really do hate fox hunting though!! But that doesnt extend to hating bernard.
Used to work at a stables when I was a kid and we followed the local hunt. Was basically a chance to tear around the countryside on a pony playing John Wayne all day. Apart from the hunt gathering we never saw the berks in the red jackets and the hounds/dogs/mutts (please select preference) again. Saw lots of foxywoxy's though, I think they knew to follow us and keep away from the slavering animals and of course the dogs/hounds/mutts (please select preference).
I love foxes - I'm a townie and feed them whenever I can. I think Iv helped raise hundreds of them in my time. Love a mutt also - especially American pitbulls, lovely natured dogs.

this thread continues to enlighten me... anybody on here play 'magic' cards? - we have a bunch of experts in my family - keep trying to get better at it - if only i had the time...
Not for about 15 years, but i still have a few stacks of the cards somewhere!! Its very addictive is that game! assuming you mean magic the gathering! Dont get good, get OUT while you can!!! Its just another collecting addiction boatyyy
^ This was in the seventies mate, men weren't allowed to wear pink then, unless they had big handlebar moustaches and liked dressing up as a motorcycle cop/indian/construction worker/cowboy/biker/naval pilot (please choose preference).
some of our younger members might be a little coinfused here.
yes, i left that game a long long time ago, too... but they keep trying to pull me back in... the guys run a regular sat eve game around here, lol... some are real champions, they take this stuff real seriously... lollll...

I understand BB, one of my Nephews is a friend of Dorothy. No rules in this part of the countryside, its all sex and violence, and a bit of fun!.
