I agree there. I never really felt i needed or wanted a Fairey piece. But this one just spoke to me from the moment i saw it announced. This is to me today's Fairey's obey. (if that made any sense hehe)

This is the flip of the year! Pure madness with these going for $750 on ebay. I hope it's the OG elves buying and then cancelling orders.

Personally shocked by every release. If you know Photoshop and Illustrator it probably takes around 30 minutes to create that image. Given that the photograph is taken by someone else I'm really disturbed how this can be discussed as art or creative output. Also mainly disturbed by the fact that this guy now does street art sponsored by huge companies listed on some index somewhere around Wall Street. Is there a poorer way to cash in? Am I the only one with this opinion on these posters?

But with this print being the cover of TIME at Xmas, i think its one of the more iconic images of the latest releases..... Gutted i couldnt get one, got the cart button but all i saw was a white screen

You are totally within your rights to dislike it for its apparent lack of creative process, but it is still art (which can be almost anything).

Since I pay no attention to his work I didn't know that the money goes to the movement. No doubt a good thing. With flogging these posters every two weeks I guess he can play one for generosity.

That's the one. Think the 99% works well on the mask.

Is that her? Still the photograph looks all a bit too much positioned to me but that aspect plays a big part in nearly every aspect of modern society so why not in this case. Actually really should not post on Shepard Fairey threads which I usually don't anyhow.

i managed to get one too by the look of it. had to reload the confirm purchase page a couple of times because the button didn't work then got a white failed to connect final page a few times but kept hitting reload until the purchase went through.
really pleased with this one. the first obey i've tried to buy since obama progress (which was piss easy in the uk because it went up while the us slept).
like others on here it's the first obey that i've liked in a long time. luckily it appeared to buy just as i was about to leave work.
