if you can...try and hold out on a big tv purchase for 6 months or so (prob in time for the olympics). A whole bunch of 'next gen' internet / app enbled tvs are going to hit the market soon (led by the Apple TV and followed by everyone else). You'll see big drop in prices on non-internet enabled ones as well.
If you can, stick with what you've got for a little longer - don't forget you can stream all freeview channels over your computer (www.tvcatchup.com)
