Great show, loved the prints & the quality of the execution. Great concept giving real variety in small editions.... dont think they'll last long.

Frames look like plastic trays.

To be fair probably the biggest problem with the frames is that they are being discussed!!!!! On an art board.
So think that therefore is a mistake as I am sure it his art that counts.
I am a lover of his work so not being critical of him or your frames but just an opinion After reading this thread

I thought this was the point of a forum to discuss things.......Love DW work myself but just saying the curved frames for me didn't compliment the work and by the sounds of it I'm not alone in this. Are you comfy on the fence johnnyh! A picture without a frame is like a man with no soul! somebody said this can't remember who.......

seem to be well recieved on the night, David was pleased i guess that what counts? Pidge my point was not whether I like or dislike. I am saying the frames are not as quoted above - they are a mistake in my opinion because we are discussing them. When as this is a major show for him I am sure he would rather people were discussing his art rather than his frames. So regardless of whether people think good or bad I think they are possibly interfering. Which is not good. Now when seen in the flesh may be they complement do not know as I was not there but I suspect not. Not knocking the opinion of the frames I just in hindsight not the right choice but that's a my opinion. Johnny

The artwork looks awesome and i'm quite suprised that some of it still available. I have to agree though, don't like the frames. Frames are all personal preference so I assume DW must have liked them. Not knocking his work at all, I even bought one of these latest pieces, but I won't be framing mine in a frame like those. Don't know what frame yet, but it wont have round corners, thats for sure. Just my 2p worth...

the large prints where framed completely different -
welded steel, square corners and very industrial looking.
pics to follow.
