Josh Keyes will be releasing a new print - Stampede - on Monday 14th November @ 7pm(GMT)/11am(PST) Signed and numbered edition of 350 Archival Giclee on Optima One 100% cotton paper (300 gsm weight) 22"x48" paper size with deckled edges Published by Josh Keyes 2011 Manufacturer, PixelPoint Artistry Price: $350.00 plus shipping and handling This print will be available for purchase through the Josh Keyes webstore at www.joshkeyes.com on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11AM PST. us4.campaign-archive2.com/?u=2fc84d487ae82e80e27763542&id=bdf0d1e185&e=16d557a59eIf I could just say NOM! This is my favourite piece from the current "Migration" show @ Jonathan Levine. The original is a magnificent beast measuring 5ft x 10ft, this is suitably huge print at 4ft long and will look AMAZING framed up! Really, REALLY hope I get one, it's the perfect thing for an upcoming birthday - my 40th birthday present to myself ;D

Damn, didn't really think of that, so I'm calling dibs While I am here, can I officially be first to get the obligatory "If anybody has got one of these and doesn't want it it - GET IN TOUCH" up on the forum. Hopefully, that's me covered from all angles. Sorted ;D

Just came across this on'tinterweb... "Descent" Just LUVERLY From a group show @ Copro Gallery, curated by Martin Wittfooth - Dark Water - featuring some beautiful work, I particularly like the Elizabeth Winnel and Matt Rota pieces. www.copronason.com/dark/

The ed size is too big for the flippers? I have a feeling they had their flippers burnt with sowers?

Great print this! Would not worry too much about flippers since it is the same edition size and price as seen on Sowers and don't think flipping turned out that great on that one. So hoping collectors will have a good chance to get one.

If you miss the drop and can be patient for some months, you'll get this under face, for sure! (That's how I got my Sowers)

I think the image is a lot stronger than Sowers.

(That's how I got my Sowers) I missed one on eBay the other day that went for £171 - eBay decided I needed to log in again when I put in my 10 second countdown sniper bid. Bastards! I still love "Sowers" but this one is better IMO, as it brings together nearly all of the elements (the refraction of the water, the fin cutting the tarmac, abandoned human relics, etc.) I like from his other works in to one big chunk of NICE. If he'd have managed to squeeze a Polar Bear in there I'd be beside myself

That "Descent" print is just depressing...woo a dead polar bear in some water! I'm sure the message behind it is to highlight serious issues but I wouldn't want to look at that everyday.

If you watched Frozen Planet last week (repeat was yesterday), there was a killer whale with a 2m tall dorsel fin, so i reckon this one is fine.

Its an og rather than a print, but aside from that, i agree its not a light and fun image. Horses for courses. IMO, yes it is sad, but its a beautiful piece of work also.

I did want to go for this but I think framing costs and finding a location for it has put me off. I just want to own a Keyes!

Ok so tried before for Keyes and not had any luck, I'm guessing the print will be available in the prints section and not on the home page of the site? Can anybody give the definitive answer on this as need to be ready with my refresh finger!!

Any ideas on what the payment method might be. As this is his first release from his own site.

I'd venture to guess that Josh's site will have a paypal link and you can check out there with a credit card if needed.
Love Josh's work (saw this image in the flesh last month) but passing on this release. Good luck to those trying, shouldn't be too hard.
