Whats a shame is the medias attention to it! What would you expect when the article states "They can fetch up to £30,000 a piece." and how many are taken so quickly. Id assume some thug reads that as "EASY MONEY....COME AND GET IT!" Adding fuel to the fire imo.

what a shame.. but then it don't surprise me in the slightest that it has happened... people are out to make a quick pound note these days.. hope when they tried to take them they got damaged so they are no good to no one..

I personally think ES's editorial has taken a dive since takeover. This doesn't really surprise me.

Thieves will be disappointed if they expect to sell any stolen invader for 30K... Serious collectors want authentified work by the artist for that price, not street stolen pieces.
