Pricing on Drans IMO seem a bit crazy, granted the I Love You print is mostly hand drawn but so are the I Have Chalk and these don't seem to sell for much more than original cost (I believe that there may even be some left at POW, although these will be the less cute subjects such as death). I still think over a grand this eBay sale is a one off and any future sales will be a lot less, I am expecting the I Love You print to settle at somewhere just below the colour Learning To Fly, both have a very cute child friendly style however the difficulty in getting the LTF prints with having to stand in one of the worst blizzards know in the UK and the fact that most flippers were not aware of Dran untill the LTF release will keep the prices of LTF's higher the ILY's

supply and demand ... supply and demand ... and Xmas coming for the wife/gf/boyfriend/husband/partner pressie adds to the pressure (see resurgence around valentines ) I agree, I think prices will settle a bit, I Have Chalks depends a lot on the image imo, the one on the bay with the tree is not a strong image unless you are into trees

Weather on drop day will hardly play a role on a print's ability to maintain or gain value, no matter how bad that blizzard was, but that's just my opinion. I'd go with this over LTF any day of the week, although for the right drawing, I Have Chalks wins it for me. Too bad the run is a bit inconsistent in comparison to this one. It did made all of the charm of the show though. I could probably hang any of the ILY, but I got to be selective in my search of a IHC.

Normally the weather wouldn't play a part, but this wasn't normal weather, a national do not travel warning, flights, railways, tube lines and buses all stopped and motorways completely blocked (it took me 8 hours to get home) ensured anybody who got a LTF went to a lot of trouble and suffered (it was incredibly cold) therefore would probably want to keep them more than someone who sat in the warm pressing f5 in hope of a quick easy profit.

The auction seemed a bit weird to me-did anyone else notice the high bid kept going up and then decreasing again in the last few days? Did bids keep getting cancelled?

I had this auction on my wachlist as well. the bidding history looks more than suspicious to me. who - besides of the seller/friends of the seller - would try to bring the price higher and higher even 4 days before the auction end...? ok, mission accomplished for the seller. let's see if this number will come up again from the same seller or one of his friends...
the current buy-now one jumped on the same train, of course.

Nice frame job Katzy
Hmmmm, have kept somewhat quiet on this one after missing out, waiting to see what happens on ebay, and having just seen the last two auctions, erm... bluddy 'ell!
I like the print, but I'm not coughing up that much just to complete the collection. For that, I'd rather wait for a framed Chalks print to show up or put it towards an unsigned Banksy...

Just thought I’d mention on here first before people spotted it on ebay. I hit a badger last week and my car came off nearly as bad as the badger, got the quote through and it was pretty steep. After a lot of thought I’m going to have to let my Dran I Love You go as I’m pretty short of funds at the moment. I’m likely to piss off a lot of people on here and be accused of flipping but didn’t have much choice. I haven’t had much chance to become too attached to it and my other pieces are all framed so would have been more of a hassle to sell and realistically wouldn’t have fetched as much.

Ouch well I know that would of pissed me off a lot as they do look awesome and I would of wanted to keep it. If funds weren't so tight my end I would be making an offer for sure.
