and some more Met up with Eine yesterday before he left for warmer climes and picked up some new single circus letter canvasses.... as soon as they're photographed properly we'll add them to the site..... always popular and I know a bunch of you missed out last time, so in the meantime, drop us a line if there are particular letters you'd like and I'll send through some quick snaps.....

.... I cant really justify spending £350 on one of these...... I had my sights set on a couple but can no way stretch to one let alone two! Ah well!

Price seems really ok for a hand sprayed canvas, at least judging from what they were going for when everyone thought, they are not available anymore. Personally, I'm not sure what to think about them being issued again and again and again...

...much as I like (a lot of of) his work, I can't help but think BE is increasingly all about the moolah.
I, and others were categorically told these would no longer be produced because they 'devalue his larger commissions' and yet still batches keep reappearing. Endless AP's, black and white editions, even new (identical) 'Japanese' editions of old prints.
His call I guess, but I'd much rather see him push-on with something new of the quality and detail of the Shutterfonts.

Regret not getting a couple back in the day when they were 90 odd quid from stella dore....
Really hard for me to justify spending £350 now. shame.

There has been at least 2 'last sets' released before this. I wish he'd just make them unlimited and sell them for £150-200 each. Id be quite happy to collect the whole alphabet that way.

Bit out of order to keep saying it's the last set and then a few months later up comes another bunch.

I agree des , I'm really tempted by one or two of these but what is the point when they're will be more runs like you say Eine needs to do an unlimited version. I did like that set someone had on they're office wall in the "show us your pad thread" visionary , brilliant I thought.

I haven't got any of the single letter canvases, but would also be a touch gutted if I did.

I haven't got any of the single letter canvases, but would also be a touch gutted if I did. Don't see why, these are all unique pieces and I assume that one e.g A will probably be a different colour to the next A. Certainly when I bought mine Ben showed me a range of different ones for the particular letters I was looking for. It wasn't as if there were only 26 of them to start with!

I can confirm there are different colour ways of each letter!
I was all up for getting my name, but i foolishly thought they'd be cheaper than £350! Wish it wasn't so close to Christmas!

I understand what you mean, but if I spent £350 on what was supposedly the last batch: then every 6 months or so, another set pop up, then I think £350 is too much for a potentially unlimited run of them.

To be fair we asked tibia last time they were up and the gallery were pretty open that they were not numbered so could come up again. This time there is a lot of them choice of 3 or 4 colours. So basically think the thing is they are quirky rather than going to massively grow in value like a unique or edition canvass.
It's a cheap Eine but would suggest his prints will probably grow in value more. However for having initials or writing expensive on your wall there cool. I've gone for initials over a couple of these issues as could not afford exspensive lol couldn't even do a middle initial

Just to clear this up folks..... a couple of customers mentioned there was some discussion on here......
Someone posted a reply I sent them the last time we had a few of these from Ben but if you missed it...... these aren't editioned..... they're original, spraypaint on canvas and signed and dated on the reverse...... it's extremely unlikely that there's more than one the same.
In terms of whether these are the last ones? I don't know. It's Ben's call. I'd like to have more but it's really up to him. Also lots of people asking about different fonts but again, it's his call. All of those we had this time are circus font.
Planning on adding what we have left to the site in the next couple of days.
If you need any other info, feel free to email me or call the gallery.
Cheers, James

Just to add my own stamp on this, bought one from No Walls and James was very very nice to deal with... All different colours and still affordable so why complain about them being available again so that more of us can enjoy having the initials they want It's not always about your artworks increasing in value, sometimes it's nice to buy something just because you want it on your (baby's) wall, will keep it forever ... so who cares about its appraisal value ;-)

James seems a cool guy in the dealings I've had with him. Up front I'd say. As for the letters : I think they're cool myself. 350 notes for an original Eine seems pretty good. I don't see the problem.
