Fredquimby. I doubt that Banksy surfs the banksy forums. That is like the stig commenting on car forums. He is probably a fan like we all are.

Well I think creators do sometimes 'check in' with their fans and what they have to say.
I know first hand that George Lucas did when working on the recent Star Wars films and he's a billionaire with better things to do in his life...

Even if fragile was banksy I would not be pming him. Like David Hockney said on Hirst at least he does all his own work. Banksy is good at what he does and his art will increase in price like warhol I still think there is better work out there by artists that are not in the spotlight.

Fred I think Banksy who ever he is, is articulate, intelligent and brought us the stencil art in the UK first and that counts for a lot. All I was saying in terms of stencil art there are a number of artists out there that are at the same level in terms of stenciling. But as a collective in terms of all his work in terms of sculptures, exhibitions etc and originally starting out as a graffiti artist not some musician or paparazzi photographer he aint a t**t hes a genius in that sense.

I do but apart from weapon of choice I prefer the earlier stuff he did and the same goes some times with my choice in music. I love Pulps early stuff when it gets popular and your playing to mainstream it kind of looses its appeal to me.
