It does look a bit like a christmas prezzie sale, but some nice pieces and it will be interesting to see what prices are achieved. Must admit to be more than a little interested in what the top end Warhol and Lichtenstein pieces go for, I've never seen such a high estimate for a Lichtenstein piece before and Lenin is one of my fav's.

That Lichtenstein is one of his most famous. Thanks for the link, I'll be interested to see how a few of those lots do in the Dreweatts sale, as I have them as well. I jst looked and saw the urban sale. perhaps a good place to buy my first Banksy

Emailed for a condition request and received a pretty uninformative response: "This work is unframed and in good fresh condition"
Are these tea leaves that I'm supposed to decipher? Asked for a more thorough report, but nothing as of yet. Can't believe they'd expect bidders who can't see it in person plunk down their hard earned cash based on that information. Is this typical?

good, fresh condition, means there are no faults in the print... i.e. it's perfect

Agreed. Less is more when it comes to condition reports. They tend to describe issues as opposed to perfections. good, fresh condition, means there are no faults in the print... i.e. it's perfect

Excellent, thanks for the info. They were also kind enough to supply a more detailed report, it was worth asking. h

If anyone is thinking of buying the Banksy Pulp Fiction print from the London sale let me know. This print was damaged by my shipper. They refunded me the money paid and repaired it. So not saying it is or is not a good buy just will let you know what happened so you are aware. No idea if mentioned on the condition report or not
PM me

The Lichtenstein sold yesterday for £75,000 hammer. World record for the print. With premium added on makes a cool £97,500!!
