Thanks Kristakis... I believe they're almost gone now. No other colour ways I'm afraid, I did do a couple of 1/1 editions, but they're also gone. But if you're in the South bank area, the mural I did in the Wagamama there is up and running...
Mine arrived today -from Moniker Projects - I think it needs a bit of R & R ! nicely protected, but very tightly tolled. Anybody any ideas on how to relax this one?

some people just have no idea how to pack art, as if its no value to them.

just leave it like it is, then eventually it will loosen up enough to then put in a folio. your portfolio being filled with all those lovely other prints, will weigh on top to completely flatten it.
They should have gone flat!! My advice pop them into a framers as most framers have paper presses to flatten out prints. They'll suss it for you I'm sure... Really sorry about that. I did advise to put them in card as the paper is so thick... Apologies...
No worries - will get it into my framers tomorrow - and hope you don't mind me mentioning it - but people need to get it out of the tube asap - Remi - nice to see you care
georgec7 - I really would advise against pressing the print. The best thing to do is allow the paper to relax on its own. I once received a piece rolled exactly the same way, coincidentally, by the same people from whom you bought your print. My framer's paper expert - who went to school for such things - reverse rolled the piece and let it stay that way for several weeks...It still wasn't long enough for the paper to recover. It clearly takes awhile depending upon how long the print has been rolled, the type of paper, the medium, temperature/humidity. More recently I received a piece that had been in a tube since 1996! This time I contacted Rob Kipp (http://www.oldprints.com/). It took a year but the print is now flat and near mint (he cleaned some small spots).
Remi - Really like your art. Hope I'll get a chance at an original someday soon.
Selfmade - thanks for the advice. I don't think the piece is going to flatten soon - which sort of defeats the object really! I'm going to contact Moniker Projects and ask them what they were thinking putting an original on heavy paper in a tube with a six centimetre apperture!
Same problem here, but the paper will flatten out with time. Just don't rush it and let the paper relax for a few days before popping on some light weights. After a week or so a heavier weight. Definitely not the end of the world and not the worst example of bad packaging I have received. In fact the packaging was fine just the tube diameter a problem. Still doesn't take away the fact that it's a great original edition for a fantastic price. Cheers Remi.
Think mine is at the postoffice at the moment and I can pick it up monday...
I have all kind of stuff lying around in house at the moment and shuffling things constantly as I'm moving within a month, not happy to have such a great piece lying around when I need all the little space that I have.. will see!
