No, I mean a queue in a different country! Oz , that would sort the men from the boys! Or Antartica

"Ced, how many Palestinians do you reckon picked something up at the Bethlehem ghetto?"
What is your question supposed to prove ? I assume owning a Banksy is certainly the last preoccupation for Palestinians... But you'll tell me how many Banksy fans or collectors made the trip to Bethleem from abroad to grab something ? Was there a huge queue ?

[/quote] My question isn't trying to prove anything, just a passing comment in response to your post of: To me it is still a brit release because given the number of fans worldwide, if the print can only be bought in a London store, it remains a local sale. Seriously, how many people from outside Britain could get the CYW on release (not from ebay) ? If you're saying that about CYW, why not interchange Palestine and Flags... it would read like this: To me it is still a Palestinian release because given the number of fans worldwide, if the print can only be bought in a Bethlehem store, it remains a local sale. Seriously, how many people from outside Palestine could get the Flags on release (not from ebay) ? As for how many people travelled, and how many people attended etc. banksyforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=santasghetto2007&action=display&thread=13803&page=1

As much as I like Mr B's work, CYW as an exception, there is not a feckin cats chance in hell that I would jump on a train/coach/car, drive up to London from Bournemouth (all of 90 miles), stand in a feckin queue for 2 days freezing my ass off, get attacked by some dodgy geezers with big doggies, in the hope I might score a print. I have better things to do with my life.
I shall do what I have always done, enter the email lottery (if there is one), pre-write my whinging email (got beaten up by nasty peeps in the queue and missed out by 1) not get a print and then cry about it on here.
I have it on good authority that he's moving/has moved to LA so our American friends might get the chance this time.

QUEUE everytime!!! I hate the lottery because it's always someone else who wins! I would be really upset if POW do a lottery! At least with a queue you know you are getting the print. I assume most of the people who vote for a lottery on this little pole are foreigners!

Indeed (I didnt go) but ofcourse I heard last years queue at POW was a disaster. I think POWs lack of organisation was the failure to blame. It seemed ridiculous them disclosing the locations of the print releases so last minute that it just stressed everyone out! Forget about people who pushed in - I mean if your in a queue - you hold your place! I think POW need to prove to everyone that they can organise a queue effectivley from perhaps a single location. I've been queuing for print released since 2007 - its the fairest method by far!

I assume most of the people who vote for queuing live in London. PS./ I don't like lotto's either. Anyway queues are going to happen. Releasing online is just to simple a solution/

I nearly made it to the queue thanks to a phone call from a great forum guy on here, but a pub stop en route diverted my attention This year i will not be seduced by warmth and alcohol, hopefully ;D
