Any idea what the Eine print will be? I like the D*Face but not sure I can be bothered to take the trip just for it. If the Eine is nice too, it might sway me towards going.

Eine print is being released at 5pm, and Eine will be there hand pulling the screenprints himself. The much fabled "Oranges And Lemons" print, perchance? Maybe too complex to pull live though... |

I think skitchy is just stating its a similar image but saying eine instead of beer/wine. Am surprised its an open edition though, wondering if it will only be available for the two hour slot?

Spoke to the guy printing todays prints at jealous galley it is going to be a 3 colour screen print, they have printed the 2 colours already and are going to screen the last colour on the day.
the print just says EINE repeated and is about A3, from what i can gather from the screen that was on show there.

I went down there today and got a print, it is a great colourway and good price at £35. They are signed but not numbered, the chap from the gallery said that 153 were printed but a couple were spoilt so would be an edition of around 150. Had to wait a couple of hours for them to dry, when I went to pick mine up Beejoir was there and had a quick chat with him...very nice man! Talking about Mau Mau and how he thinks the whole art scene has slowed down a bit with the recession and all. He even did a little personal message in the bottom corner of my print. Well worth the trip me thinks.  |
