Your [place is lovely Marie, and the JP OG reeealllly sets the whole place off! Is that a mini NEISB&W or just the perspective? @ misterx: no, it's not a mini… it's just the perspective. My husband and I were very happy when we managed to buy this print in august 2010, when it was released by Eelus… @ Cédric: merci beaucoup!!!!! ça avait été un coup de folie de notre part

I was really impressive by all the art collection I saw here… There is a part of mine, not as impressive but I love it… What's the one with a bunch of minicolored boxes w/ hearts it looks like? And who's the old man by? (the one to the left of the minicolored boxes) Very nice

To have seen in real the Marie and James' appartment, I just can say that they have a very fine taste in street art and they have much more....! And this Eelus makes me dreams also! ;-) As well as you Basquiat from Jef Aerosol, Cedric lol

Yes, it's right, Jean-Pascal Fournier for the little hearts ("Learning to Love") and C215 for the old man, a stencil on wood (one of our first art collection pieces). Indeed, the "Heart in Love" of Waleska Nomura is one of my favorite paintings (with my David Walker piece, of course ). I remember, I first saw the "Heart in Love" Waleska painted (bigger than this one) which was showed at Bricklane Gallery during the summer 2009. I litteraly fell in love with this heart! Many thanks for your nice comments!

Thanks guys. It's a west coast contemporary house built in 1969. It's in the middle of nature and 10 minute drive from downtown. The wildlife is crazy, on any given day there are bald eagles, herons, salmon, coyotes, steller's jays, ducks, bears, skunks, racoons and squirrels. Just yesterday, my wife mentioned to me that the property would be a perfect setting for a Huf Haus. It's amazing what you can do with a hammer and a bunch of 2 x 6's. Being so close to the river presents its problems with moisture and steep terrain. There was a lot of wood rot in the supporting beams, and I replaced the problem areas myself (by the way, I'm not a builder...but I guess I'm becoming one). Here are some before pictures (note lack of insulation):
