bet the rad isn't always off ;-) Has anyone any proof this damages the print? i don't necessarily think its the heat that can damage prints its extreme changes in temperature and of course if something is framed well that will help allot

I hang a few prints over radiators. They are well framed by MFM. If it damages them then it is no big deal as I plan to keep them and like me they too can age with life and whoever inherits them can pay a print restorer if need be.

It's a million miles from his radiator he will be long gone be fore the print.
Look at the really old stuff for sale yo tnink they did al this free that free boll$cks no. The prints/canvas are fine stick them on the wall. They are fine. His Toxic looks well happy to me. Chilled in summer and snug in winter mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!! That's how we all want to be.....

Avoid rads IMHO
I pretty much don't hang anything as other half loves to whack the heating up to 25 ish in the winter and drying/airing wet washing.Within an hour of the washing being in the room the paper starts to ripple
Ideal enviroment is where the temp and humidity are constant, I know I'm too anal.Walking from my office into the living room is like going from outdoors into the Eden project (no joke)
Edit :Volvic makes a lovely cuppa but where is the other half of the tree!

...nice pad lou, is that a Peeta canvas next to the spiral staircase? Hi Connecta, no, it is by Labrona. the four canvas's are by our very own Replete, Always had a soft spot for Terry Frost's work, Dan. Thanks for all the kind comments.
