aargh love that balaclava, not a big dolk fan at all but this is a nice one.. too many nice things coming up (Dalek prints, Remi/Rough with the paper pieces and now this too!)

I like the "Balaclava" out of the two I think.

Mushroom Girl was great, huge, on the outside of a building, and even on a piece of old wood (as Studio Cromie), but I don't like it on white paper for some reason!

Balaclava works far better as a print I think... but still feels like an illustration rather than a piece of art for the wall... know what I mean?

yep, but guess he's generally gotten away with swimming in Banksy's slipstream for a while now, might as well carry on with it. There's always a gap in the market for some Hi-Tec's when you can't afford Nikes.

Not really feeling the closeness RYCA ? Similar but Balaclava is more of a yes Im going to be a lunatic today whereas Eelus "I Said I'm Happy (What more do you want?)" is more of a unhappy putting on a face relationship type of tale.

Mushroom on the old house, pretty magic. Is there any Norweigan folklore story in this image ?

The vikings used to eat fly agaric before a fight (true or not, i don´t know..) The Fly agaric is hallucinogenic and a bit poisonous. I think the image has something to do with that. The girl could know what she´s doing and wanna get high or she don´t know and she will die!

I struggle to see what the point of Mushroom Girl is?

It's like: "Oh my god, she's picking a huge poisonous mushroom". Which she then won't be able to fit into her hopelessly underdimensioned basket.

Ha, have to agree with you there although I still think it has more charm than the balaclava piece, I don't understand the message behind that whatsoever.

I find it hard to see any progression in content or image to his work, if anything, it's lost the edge he originally had. Almost like he's hit middle age.

The mushroom is okay, I think 250ed may take a while to shift, not like 3 yrs ago when these would have gone in 10mins. Manhands LOL... I wouldn't fancy a 'hand shandy' from her
