After last year's sold out success of the 1950 Hollywood arrow box set, Above has been busy building and screen printing the new decade of the 1960 Hollywood arrow box set edition. Process photos to continue as Above finishes printing, building, and detailing each stage of his new edition. Sean Connery seen here is to be the front cover of the larger arrow box that will enclose the 5 smaller celebrity arrows inside. As with last years 1950 Hollywood set the 1960 edition will be the same edition size of just 10 arrow boxes. Each of the 10 arrow boxes are signed, dated, and numbered on the inside of the box as well as the 5 smaller wooden arrows included inside the box.
James Bond cover arrow for 1960 Hollywood arrow box set edition of 10
Today we got these photos of the first of five smaller arrows to be enclosed inside the larger wooden arrow box. Exactly like last year’s 1950 Hollywood box the 1960 Hollywood box will have 5 smaller wooden arrows that Above hand screen printed on both the front and back sides of each respective arrow. The first Hollywood actor is Sean Connery as none other than Bond…James Bond. Above chose to use secret agent 007 as the leading role and cover face for the 1960 Hollywood series. We will post new images as Above completes each of the following four arrows left in this arrow box edition.

New process images and new arrow of Raquel Welch. Each wooden arrow is screen printed on the reverse side and signed, dated, and numbered by Above.
Raquel Welch starred in the remake of One Million Years B.C. striking an iconic pose in a prehistoric animal-skin bikini. Story has it the poster of this pose of Welch is the most popular selling movie poster to date.

Next 1960 Hollywood actor included in the arrow box set is Steve McQueen also known as “the king of cool.†McQueen stared in such classics as Bullitt, The Thomas Crown Affair, and The Great Escape.
The 5th and last actor to be included in the 1960 Hollywood arrow set is Clint Eastwood, star from the 1960s classic The Good the bad and the ugly.

taped off and ready to be painted. Select pine wood that is 3 inches in depth (7.62 cm) gives the larger James Bond arrow a nice depth to literally stand upright and house the 5 smaller wooden arrows and the 5 stands nicely inside.
Arrow boxes lined up ready to be painted. Notice the piano hinge on the left side of each arrow box that allows the larger arrow to open up to the 5 smaller arrows and stands inside the body of the arrow box.
Wooden select pine stands with slots cut the length of the middle so the arrows can stand upright.
Here is the complete set of larger arrow box with all five 1960 Hollywood actors and five wooden stands housed inside. Take a look at the sequence.

Just now we released to the general public the very limited 1960 Hollywood arrow box set. There are only 10 of these box sets and last years 1950 Hollywood box set promptly sold out. 7 sold and just 3 left. here is the link goabove.com/main/?p=1733
Me neither. Without wanting to to be needlessly derogatory, what is the appeal? They just look like pictures of celebrities, widely available on the internet, that have had their names added (in a pretty poor font) and then stuck on to an arrow.
however, my main issue is that every single one of karengolden's posts are blatant promotion of this artist and no contribution to the forum. it would be nice if you posted and commented in other areas of the forum rather than just using it solely as a sales tool for Above.
Everyone knows and can clearly see shes here to promote Aboves work Nothing wrong with that! she just doing what most Galleries and Artists do here.
