You're not the first person to say this. Some of you are obviously not looking at the pieces for more than a second. Maybe you should think about why it's about to roll over a red heart shaped balloon!!
Apparently there is an image of Yogi Bear under the Banksy steamroller.
I hope he's wrong and there is still hope for Yogi and his wild pals, that their natural habitat will be conserved, protected and restored and not covered in concrete.

Hello Folks
Brooklyn Street Art was in LA days before the event with full access to the show before the press opening thanks to the MOCA folks. We also attended all the events, went to a number of openings and caught a boatload of images from the STREETS of LA.
And our coverage every day on BrooklynStreetArt.com

Does it mean all those Banksy pieces in this show that were from the Bristol show never actually sold?
Which pieces are those ? Id guess not everything is always for sale, or they could be sold to friends on the understanding they are to be shown in future shows

I don't think there are too many pieces that were in both shows.
The "* subject to availability..." piece is a new version of the same idea (like the reworkings of "heavy weaponary" or "the key to great art is all in the composition" in bristol seemed to be newer versions of old ideas).
The ones from both shows were possibly sold in Bristol and lent to this one, or just been lent to both shows - after all it's an honour and adds to a piece's provenance (and value) to be involved in key shows like these.
(if you've not read it i'd recommend reading the $12m stuffed shark for an insight into this side of the art world)

I think there is only piece from the Bristol Show that is being displayed at MOCA too, Thomas The Tank Engine.
Is the "i hate mondays" the same piece as the Bristol one? (i know there was some talk about there being 2 versions as one was apparently in POW wasn't it?)

That's what I always thought. Are there really 2 different versions of this canvas? They look to be one and the same to me with the Moca version just being a more complete/finished version of the one that was exhibited in Bristol. I suppose if that is as complex a stencil as the note suggests it's possible but both of those pieces look far too similar to me. I also believed that piece was primarily freehand painting so it shows you what I know.
