Indeed I do, and I'm certainly not looking for anymore! I'm asking on behalf of a non-member who's based overseas...

looking back over this tread, i think i can guess! Hirst and a few others got wind of Charming so bought up pieces, then that had a knock on affect and slowly but surely spreads across the forum like wild fire. Quick buy now or next year these will be more than triple what they are now .

A very kind forum member managed to get me one of the final saturday screenprints - along with a 'signed' show poster. Can anyone tell me how many screenprints were actually available on the day.

I was told 160 were going to be printed but don't take that as fact. The previous Saturday print was available as well and I thought that sold out last week.

Does anyone know when the remaining prints will be going online? Are you going to wallpaper your house with them?

Hirst and a few others got wind of Charming so bought up pieces, then that had a knock on affect and slowly but surely spreads across the forum like wild fire. Quick buy now or next year these will be more than triple what they are now . Des77, I believe that goes along way to explain this sudden enthusiasm for his work! - Hunter007 I believe you're correct as well, the Hirst name has helped to fuel the fire... Although we should realise Hirst does buy up tons of artworks from art graduates and also more established artist. I suppose then it just how well the said artist pr's this fact! Then you get Noel Gallagher buying a piece; so that confirms it must be good! So we can all now busy around buying a print to make ourselves feel like part of the club! So Hunter007; I think the future small price increasing on prints is only a small factor in 'Charming' sudden popularity rise... I think its far more to do with being part of something! Owning the latest trainers because your best friends got a pair and the cool kids the year above are wearing them also! - Not saying there is anything wrong with the need to belong, it just the way of the art-world works at all levels! It's funny to see the microevolution rolled out over 8 pages here... Check the last CB show and response on the forum, hardly half the interest! Sorry Ruggs I can't tell you how many screenprints where available on the day... I'll have a guess at 150! But I would like to know how many celebrity there where at the opening?

Reliable source told me 200. A decent run, not too bad so 63 first week (confirmed), less than 104 second week, approx 120 printed 3rd week and 200 to finish. It was a nice feature for the show and produced some great prints.

same old same old for this place, 8 pages of talk about edition sizes, celebrity buyers and ebay with not a word about the pieces on show and what they mean. alright if its someone like d*face and theres nothing to actually say but this guys work is really interesting. love his work in terms of visuals but would be interested to know the thinking behind some of his pieces, he definitely uses some creative titles

I too have cracked. I have just gone against my instinct and bought a F**cker print. Fantastic image and have gone with the framing they had at the exhibition. I feel that this will go down as one of the better images, and I expect great things from Mr Baker and his furtile imagination and gutter mouth.

Im also slowly cracking on that one... but trying to justify the purchase with something else than "everyone is talking about it" isn't really going well...

I would have loved to see a real review of the work rather than 'Sold 1.7M' headline. The catalogue gives an insight to one painting with the Lamb & Train I forget the title exactly .. ignorance is overrated. The lamb is figuratively Baker's mother. Some of the titles are self explanatory. PS best giglee Ive ever got as the screen printing combination works every time.
