I never did figure out how to see all of these images. Whenever I check the site there's only two or four showing at a time. The Bucky ones are brilliant -- and I never even saw them on the site, just here... Clearly I'm missing something and am too busy to spend time on the site and crack the code?

Didn't really notice the YSL at first but just realised I like it. Let me know if you have second thoughts anyone that got one.

PHEW, thankfully someone pulled the trigger on the last Dope Drop -- I've been considering it all day and now that temptation has been removed. Nice score whoever picked it up.

Glad I succumbed and bought one yesterday, I can stave off the temptation, but yeah, that piggy's pretty sweet.

Rkitek - please buy that last Dope Drop - I too have wasted two days eyeballing it, toying with it, looking at it in my cart, then releasing it back to the wild, then I black out and five minutes later I find myself frantically f5ing and pleading with the tiny thumbnail image on the screen that "This time will be different, I will definitely pull the trigger, let's never fight again". I can't waste another day on this, this is not living, this is simply existing, I can't take it anymore...If it's not gone by tonight I fear Friday night beers will force my hand...

While I realize this is a mildly absurd comparison, it's pretty impressive that none of these are for sale on eBay (compared to every recent release by MBW, Fairey, etc...). The prices help (not too many flippers are going to take a chance on a $2200 print), but it also speaks volumes about the quality of the work. People are buying these (I can only assume) to hang on the wall, not to flip.

People generally don't flip Bäst, however, never seen such interest as with this release so wouldn't be surprised if a few make their way to flea bay in the coming month.

Like the above have said, Bast's work generally doesn't come up for sale that often. It is generally low editions, priced well and intelligently to stop an abundance of works appearing on Ebay. Also most people who buy it are true fans of him work and buy it to keep.
I personally think the releases were very strong with something for everyone. I love Bast's work though, so am slightly biased. If it wasn't for restrictions I would have snapped up a few pieces.
I too am amazed at the incredible response this body of work has prompted. Love him or hate him Bast is going places. He's always exploring new avenues and techniques and in the most part you get something unique, which makes him stand out from the mundane and over saturated print releases of recent years. I like the way he does what he wants and doesn't panda to gallery restrictions or mass appeal. In my eyes that's what makes him a great artist and I'm surprised he doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

I have been saying for a while he would have his day. A massive retrospective would highlight the genuine quality of his work.
