defo agree, the individual letters would look great together, id be tempted to hang them below each other once framed too, think it works, they would go well down my stairs

If I got the single letters, I would just float mount them all in a single long frame. I'm rubbish at hanging stuff on a wall in a perfect line and 6 single frames screams nightmare to me!

...agree you'd deffo have to float them to make the most of those lovely torn edges. I'd frame them all together too
bazz is right though, vertical would work as well...

Not sure whether to go with the print or the single letter package. I like them both... decisions.

i prefer the single letters, for me i dont think the other print works well, it shouldve been like the original but then thats why i think he did the single letters for this reason.

Damn...don't really like the print but love the individual letters despite only wanting the "G". Oh well, easy pass then.

I was told 200 for print 300 for letters but thats obviously subject to change as it hasn't been confirmed.
Also told it will be same size as the recent shutter font numbers print but landscape. which i think is great will look siick framed up nice and big!
In regards to the individual letters Ive heard the E (for eine) is going to be the only letter signed
Thats it I'm out of gossip now!

Hang on...its a box set of all the letters or a single print of "change".
You cant get letters on their own right?

If the print is 200 that's a good price. Can't wait to see them in the flesh

wonder how many people will split the letters up and sell them individually. If hes only signing the E though, then that outlines that

They are screen prints. why would you want to split them up? you could commission a hand sprayed letter directly from ben for not much more.

If you framed them up seperately im sure quite a few people might just want one letter. Personally id be happy with just the "n" and someone said earlier that they would like a G. If these are 300 then thats £50 each, im sure a commission would be a hell of alot more....

signing just the one letter would make perfect sense. Why would anyone want to split them, other than to flip? Although the nice thing is if that happened quite a bit then it would only make the full set more desirable (imo).

Ben told me that he's not selling small single letter canvases anymore... He might consider a commission if it's a large version?? but he told me that he's no longer selling single letter versions as they undervalue his larger canvases. As a result this might influence those who'd like a cheap(?)single letter to buy the prints, abeit a very limited selection of letters and quite a small edition.

I'm sorry but buying this edition to split the unsigned letters up to sell on is just f***ing stupid. Are you serious? If you lived in London or took a slight interest in this piece you would know what its about. I suggest you take a good read of this.

No I don't think you should split the edition up, I'm just saying that Ben's no longer making small canvases. I know all about the CHANGE piece... I don't know why you've got your knickers in a twist, I'm just saying you're not going to be able to buy cheap single letters from Ben on canvas anymore... So this might be an option...?????

thats not the point...splinting the edition up is retarded...why would you want an unsigned screen printed letter by itself? I can't believe you are defending this for the sake of an argument.
Telling me one went on ebay for 500 means nothing a five pound banksy poster went for 250 yesterday...s**t happens.
have fun with your individual unsigned letter..I know what I'd rather have.

...Skitchy, you seem determined to be pi$$ed off with someone about something, not sure what your problem is here, maybe empty the sand out of your gusset, step away from the keyboard and take a few deep breaths.
I didn't post the price of the letter canvas specifically for you, I thought it was an interesting reflection on the current popularity of Eine, and relevant here as a few posts up people compared the individual letter prints to the canvases and discussed their availability or lack of.
I agree with you about not breaking up the sets of letters... not sure what I've posted that would make you think otherwise.

Watching this "street art" scene since 2006 has had its toll. most of the other old forumites have been banned, have left or are commenting on streetartisdead. I can remember when ben eine was No one other than Banksy's screen printer at POW...and now hes in the white house. Whats the point of a forum if you can't have an opinion everything I said is IMO. Lets enjoy this print and get on with it
