Still available on the site...reckon they are regretting the image choice now?! I think the image is fine. If these were $300 like the flag was, these would be sold out. One of the ideas I've seen bandied about on this board, especially after the CYW release, is that prints should cost a little more and that would deter the flippers. How much more, and whether it would work, are of course up for massive debate, but the $800 price does seem to have deterred the flippers while being still reasonably attainable. The image is, as someone pointed out earlier, a little weird and odd, not for everyone. And it's big. But if you like it (as I do) having a chance to get one was better than F5-ing your arm off for nothing.

I see your point pcant if a print sold for more but below secondary market price the profit margin for flippers may not be worth it however how many of us may be in danger of being priced out of "affordable" art. Truth is even with the divided opinion, relatively high price and ongoing availability, there are still some being flipped on ebay.
I must say I do like papermonsters ordering system though!

I love the obscure choice of image, and as Faile is constantly evolving, there's no question they will continue to get bigger, perhaps even on a global platform like Banksy. So I wouldn't care about their being prints being "sold out" as opposed to their "selling out" in terms of artistry integrity. And that's the only way they will cut through the clutter with your vision. In addition to the exquisite craftsmanship, of course.
Honestly, if I snared another "girly" image, she would remain in the tube like a starved slave.
Too many women around(on the walls) and it's getting boring for me : ). Chimps are good. Fashion is good. Banana juice with evaporated milk is divine.

True re: people falling for eBay listings (if those are legit sales), but that's kind of a matter of stupidity on the part of buyers as much as it is flippers. Seems pretty simple, but wouldn't you at least check the source before paying double on eBay? And perhaps the pricing could be lower, but I would imagine as it gets lower, you have more prospective flippers taking a chance. Not sure what the right answer is, to be honest, but as I said I do like the chance to take some time to think about it, instead of having to grab it because you're afraid it'll sell out. And yeah, PM's system was trouble-free, always a nice factor.

I'm going to go with simple black box frame, float the print a bit to show the edges and that should do it. I went kinda fancy with my Stilettos print and the framing was about the same price as the print. Going to try to keep it simple and less expensive this time.

To be honest, the new print is not bad, ok a far as just another print for the collection goes but I don't think I could look at that on the wall every day. And as for the flippers, over the last few years faile prints seem to be about 50/50 on being able to get your initial cost back on or make a profit if that's your thing. My confessions if I was to sell it would be at least a $250 loss, and my savage what ever it's called, is bright and nice but again probably would do best to break even on. Still love Faile but really not the best investment out there IMO... And I am not buying prints to make money but it is nice not to lose it! You get the idea.....Cheers

They'll be there for a while... THE Board has spoken. The lurking flippers got the message loud and clear.

Not surprised these are still around either. Guess a lot of people will pull the trigger once photos of the print framed start to appear. Very sure this is a stunner. Nevertheless I would have priced it cheaper due to the edition size. Just seems odd asking the same price as for an edition of 100 just a few months earlier. We'll have to see when this will sell out. As several times posted before, surly not a print for investment.
