I getcha...And agree 100%...the pompousness of such an act should be embarrassing
My intention was to trade my MOMO Zine & special Tyler Stout sticker,(herja prize) for ANY Invader Map...and I was under the assumption that there were unfolded ones somewhere along the line though those may be entirely way up the ladder in value. If so, my bad.

It's a difficult life being invader. The form by definition is really limited, the invaders look great on walls invading cities (in that respect I kind of rate him as one of the greatest street artists), prints , originals and tile kits sell well, but how do you evolve the very strictly set oeuvre that invader has made for himself? You end up with this sort of work, a tiled version of a pre existing image which has no placement, context nor deep meaning. If invader wants to branch out (not sure why he would though) using old album covers and lichtensteins is not the way. The man is a legend, this type of his work always falls really flat, for me at least anyway. That said, experimentation is important, just wonder how boxed in invader may feel now by the very boxes that made him? ...bang on. Pretty much sums up my feelings about the artist and releases like this Agreed.

Im quite excited to see what the 1000 show will be like (anyone going drop some photos pls). Interesting the comments on Invader's limitations. Never a big fan of the music 'covers' but found them better than I prejudged in person. Always loved the Rubik sculptures - ghosts mario etc.

Hello, as a parisian, I won't miss the Invader show. Will take pics. Most of them will be on my facebook profile, as usual for those who want to see them. I got the sales catalog, nices pieces but far from affordable (for me). Aliases range from 4500 EUR to 30000. Rubiks from 14 to 25000 EUR... %-/

Just saw the prices from the Levine preview. I'm speechless. Pieces around 7" - 10" are nearly $10,000. His pricing per square inch seems higher then 95% of other relating artists. I cant imagine whos buying pieces at these prices. Am I just turning into an art miser or is this a new level of crazy. Why not cut the prices by 50% and sell half them to true fans of his work!?

These prices do not make sense. I am pretty sure you can still buy pieces at 20"x14" for $6500.

I was in POW last week and they said that the delay in the release was due to the fact he hasn't signed them yet, because of the Paris show. If that is the case I expect it will take a little longer.
