Just been havin' a snout on VNA's site and it would appear the next issue has a more than a hint of Obey about it. Screen printed cover would be mega!

Okay yes the cat is out of the proverbial bag I guess!! That not so subtle hint has been picked up on - more details coming in the next week of the exact mag contents, the limited editions etc etc. but I think you're all smart enough to work out that's a collab tee between VNA and Obey Clothing on a rather natty gray marle tee. And yes the print press was chosen sepcifcially because VNA is a print mag. It will be super, super limited.
May 26th is the launch date so get it in your diary. Location and more to be confirmed shortly - there will of course be free beer!
No more to add...was up till 1am proof reading the mag - and I know it's obvious to say this but I truly think this is the best issue to date. The people we've got in, the interviews they gave, the photos to accompany them. As the kids say "next level ish".
Screen printed cover you say....hhmmmm....

congrats VNA to making this happen!.. it's amazing how you're stepping it up with every new issue..
that said, I hope non UK peeps will still have some chance on scoring a special edition.. missed Roa and Eine, snagged Sickboy, and would love to get this one as well (obviously)..

Next level indeed... Getting Shep as the cover artist - what a catch!
Well done VNA, you just know all those airmiles, dodgy luggage handlers and security checks are all worth it.
Can't wait...
Now get back to work!

Sal - there will, as usual, be an opportunity for non-UK based people to grab a limited edition. We probably won't be putting them online, simply because our servers can't handle it. More likely be a draw, or draws of some kind for non-UK people so it's not about refreshing a screen it will be a pure lottery based system. We'll do everything we can to make it as fair as possible to everyone. Glad people are excited for this one a lot of hard work went into it - I think you'll be pretty happy with the other people we got in it too. Final details will be announced next week once George is back in the UK and we have everything back from the printers.

Sorry for asking a question that might be stupid but your guys are mentioning a "special limited edition", does it mean there is a "normal" edition of the VNA magazine but also a different one offering some extra benifts ? If so, is it coming with a print for example or what ? Is it much more expensive ? Thanks for your help

shootagain There are normally two versions, one which is just the mag and no extras and a special one, which normally has a limited quantity and a screen printed cover! The special normally costs a few quid more and is almost impossible to snag!

In saying that, even up here in Scotland i've managed to bag a D*Face & Sick Boy special VNA! But i doubt the Obey issue will be as easy!

Yes there are essentially 'two' versions: the standard print run and the Limited Edition.
There are a number of ways of getting the LE - the launch night where it comes in a 'pack' we put together including various freebies, stickers that sort of thing - for example, Issue 14 Sickboy cover came with two Sickboy Edding markers.
A small number of the LE also get blind shipped to retailers but is the screenprinted magazine only. We will also be running competitions etc post-launch but you'll need to either be a fan of us on Facebook to get entered or be signed up to the mailing list.
One final thing....we're also in the process of sorting out a subscription offer that covers you for 4 issues of the mag and offers a few added benefits. Details are still being ironed out (ie it's a pretty immense adminstration task!!!) but again if you're on our mailing list you'll be the first to know on that one.

Thanks for these explanations, I guess there's some hope for me then as I'm a Londoner and will attend the Launch Party on May 26th (Stik Solo Show opening @ Lava Gallery same day though...) ;-) Cheers

Having a nose around the updated site... All looking good.
It's great to see the number of stockists VNA has around the globe now
I bet you get a bit more interest from the US after your next installment too.
C'mon people... If you can't buy it locally, talk to the stores!!
Go in hard... like John Holmes!
