Micallef original canvas on the Bay, by mydeaddogwontwoof on Jun 28, 2007 18:53:31 GMT 1, I wouldn't say the listing is misleading, and the way micallefs prices are rising i dont blame him for looking for top dollar, if it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell, and he will just have to live with the fact that he still owns an original Micallef (what a pisser!), i have a little system that works for me, if i dont like, or think it is overpriced, i dont buy, then i move on!

Micallef original canvas on the Bay, by tomhills1 on Jun 28, 2007 21:32:41 GMT 1, This micallef is not to my taste, but i hope the seller gets a fortune for it. He is a good bloke who gives generously to others, he deserves a good result. nothing wrong with making a profit, after all, he bought this from the secondary market himself. If any one of you managed to get 2 signed trolley hunters tomorrow at 3pm by getting a work mate to buy one too, you wouldnt come on here offering it for face value, you would probably use it to fund another banksy or piece of art you love. Thats the great thing about prints, they enable you to afford pieces you could never have bought for straight up cash. Most people i know use the money from selling art to buy more art, and that is a good thing, keeps the market booming. Someone who got a signed barcode for ยฃ150 a few years ago can sell it and get an original neate, and in 5 years could sell that and probably get a house!! A house for ยฃ150! its not that far fetched is it? take it easy
that's nothing, for one pound you can buy a piece of paper that is worth millions in only a few days. granted, you are 56 times more likely to get struck by lightning than win but 'it could be you'.
*no, i don't work for camelot*
