Vincent Brown is clearly a very talented artist.
I like Smug One's portraits - not sure my missus would go for a portrait of her by him - they dont seem to have many clothes on!

some of the Vincent Brown stuff is proper messed up but in a good way .... Replete's always blow's me away .... Georgia Cox not my thing .... Klingatron's stencils are insane ...... Smug One nice .... all in all a nice bunch of artist's bound to do a sterling job .... imo ....

I like Georgia Cox & Smug One but my fav is Vincent (i suppose i'm biased though as i already have one of his prints),i hope to one day have an OG.

That is a quality print. He spent ages hand finishing them. I have the original nicely hung away from the mrs and kids.

I know I shouldn't have a favorite out of it, but I do. Abdulqadir on the left off the portrait. Vince has captured everything about him. Fun, thoughtful and sensitive.
It would be impossible IMO to capture him in any other way. Thats what is so special for me about the portrait it shows what we are like as a family and as individuals.

I agree re Vincent Brown as a talented artist.
Has he always been a 'portrait artist' or did he recently move into this area?

Vincent has painted/drawn portraits for as long as I can remember. Hes a very talented musician and flirted with that for years, but painting has always been his main passion.
The first film were going to make is going to be about Vincent. I don't know anyone who knows more about art than him.
Should be fun. Have a few ideas we are mulling over.

Not really sure what Urban Art is. But the sites got to be called something, so that was a good as anything . There are street artists on the site as well as fine artists. Good to mix it up. Look at Laz for instance with artists such as Polly Morgan, its just a name.

We've had several equiries about works already painted and for sale by our artists. So i'll be adding a works for sale section at some point over the next week.

It's really not what I intended when I set up the site, but if you lot want it, so be it .
