Hi All, it's been a long time in the making, but finally were there or there abouts. I would be grateful if anyone who fancies doing it please show the site to their friends, put it up on their blogs and add a link to it on your site. There are still a few little changes that need to be made. but here you go. Feedback listened to and welcomed . www.urbanportraitcommissions.com/I am going to make little documentaries about the artist on the site, so keep a look out for that.

Well done on getting it up mate, at your age too I've made many, many purchases from perhaps a couple of dozen galleries/print houses and i would put Slammer and his site in the top 5 without a shadow of a doubt* *Of course i will get slated for saying such things on 'sites' such as SAID for hyping sales or whatever. But it is what it is, i would sooner give him my hard earned than some of the so-called reputable galleries in the game

Unlike not being able to buy the new Kaws print, if you live outside the US. Some of our artists will even travel abroad to start work on commissions. Cost would nomally be reflected in the price.

Good work Mr Slammer, and a great idea.
What kind of lead-times do customers have to work to. Reason I ask is it maybe something I would look at as a Christmas pressie for the family.

At risk of sounding like a politician, it depends what you want and who you want it from. For instance Vincent Brown thinks he may be able to to 3 family portraits like mine a year. However he could do loads of a4 drawings much faster and much cheaper. Pm me with you thoughts and i'll get back to you ASAP.

Really nice idea and I hope it works out well for you.
IMO Vincent Browne stands out as a very talented artist. In your piece, he seems to have picked up the warmth and personality of you and the little 'slammers'.
Good luck.

If anyone has added themselves to the mailing list or sent an inquiry, it hasn't been set up properly until now. Sorry for the inconvenience, but your gonna have to sign up again or sent your inquiry again.
For anyone who signs up to the mailing list I pick a person randomly and send them some goodies, including a print from one of our artists.

I keep on reading it as UFC not UPC as in UFC.com Ha, me too, especially considering how hard Slammer is - he took on the Russian mafia the CYW release with not an ounce of fear

Not sure it was Russain's, they looked more Ronnie and Reggie types to me. Just older. It seemed like half of them went home, clearly no interest in art at all. Hopefully it'll all be a bit calmer next year. I'm too old for conflict, i'm a love man.

It's kind of funny now I've thought about it for a while, Slammer could easily be a UFC fighters name (not that I've ever seen UFC). I got my original user name after a dog that was named Slammer, by its owner who consumed lots of booze. I once witnessed her attempt to climb into the hostel i was working in at the time(from which she was banned) she had got up to the 3rd floor and fell. It was the most terrifying thing I have ever seen. Amazingly she got up and only had bruises to show for her troubles. I could tell a thousand stories from the work I do. But I'd get the sack for sure.
