Just wondered who your stand out artists are so far this year? Who do you reckon will be massive and whos prints would you buy without even seeing them cos they have never let you down.
The 2 artists that i am loving right now are Beejoir and Adam Neate. Their stuff is streets ahead for me. Just wondered what you all think?
P.S I love banksy and micallef too but they ant done anything of note this year. No new prints from Antony (got to be one soon surely) and only the LA stuff from banksy, otherwise they would be up there too.
thoughts anyone

Dan Baldwin and Neate. Don't really get the hype on Choe's prints, but someone posted original work somewhere, I think it was on w allcandy and that was impressive.

dan baldwins stuff is generally top drawer, although i have passed on the chance on buying his new one(which is avaiable at harwood king now, in the gallery shop section). i love most of his stuff so far, certainly the editons of 50 and the one of 75 are great. OS Gemeos- Brasilian grafitti greats, really love thier work, out of my price range sadly, worth checking out the castle project they did in Scotland recently and also the lost art website has lots of the wall stuff. amazing.

I just saw the new Baldwin print up close and it's really impressive. It comes with bullets and an old pound note, and will need float mounting because of the little cross stuck on the top. Basically if you've seen the thumbnail image of it, you know what to expect, except for how fantastic all the different finishes look together. If I could afford what I've already spent on art this month then I'd have bought one

I think this year has been particularly poor so far, I'm continuing with my policy of not buying anything this year until the quality improves
