Nice Video Silky - Had seen the finished pictures but hadn't seen the actual process - INSA is one of just three artists slightly breaking away from the brief - so what he produces will be a complete surprise!

This looks top. Had a few pairs of trainers customised before by someone callled qustom queen, who won designer of the year a few years back. Always get good response to them whenever friends see them. Would love to make this, but I'm down in sunny Manchester and doubt I'd be able to make it.

If anyone goes to this tomorrow can you please get me a price list for the Kicks. I was going to go but had to gave my tickets to a friend as I can no longer make it.... I would ask him to do it, but he's not too reliable.
My girlfriend and i went down to the show this evening after having dinner. Considering there was no open/close time on the invite we thought 9pm was an acceptable time to turn up. Walking down Redchurch we could see quite a large crowd. We headed straight for the door and was told that it was closed at the same moment a massive brawl erupted on the other side of the road, soon after bottles started flying. My girlfriend was hit in the back of the neck with a bottle and I was hit by another 2 trying to protect her at which point I forced our way into the venue to get away from the violence... once inside the front window seemed to get pummeled with a barrage of bottles and projectiles.
Some poor guy was brought in off the street that had been hit pretty hard in the face, there was blood everywhere... my girlfriend tried to help the guy into a seat getting his blood on herself, at which point we were told by security to leave the venue, as was everyone else. We didn't really want to head back onto the street where the violence was but security wanted everyone out. We were happy to see at least one blue flashing light on the way out but it did not seem enough considering the size of the mob that was involved - we asked which way we should go to avoid the trouble makers and made our way as quickly as we could to the nearest tube station...
My GF has a massive bruise on her neck and back (as well as blood on her new shoes!!!), we both hope the guy whose face was profusely bleeding is alright and was given the first aid he required.
After all that we didn't get to see any of the shoes or the artworks...
It was quite scary there for a while, and it could have worked out a lot worse, I feel rather lucky that we escaped with a just couple of bruises from being hit with bottles (lucky we were at the door when it went down and we were able to rush in)
I am not sure what started it all, the crowd outside did seem quite rowdy when we arrived - the fact security wouldn't let us in makes me think maybe they thought something was about to happen.
I will be interested to hear if anyone actually knows what started it all...
