It's been a while since I have posted something on here that I am so excited about. I love Phil Frost's work - have done for a while. Can't afford a lovely canvass. have looked at and considered some sketches, but really wanted something with some colour. Managed to find this, and I am so proud of it Painting on paper form his Elms Lester show, dated 2005. There is an interesting story behind the frame. Apparently chosen by Phil himself from John Jones stock of vintage frames, and once frmed a Juan Miro painting. Mkes the frame a little bit extra special for me, being an admirer of Miro's work.

Two very nice pieces, coach. Thanks mate. Cannot tell you how chuffed I am with the Frost in particular. I know a couple of people (at least) on here have stunning canvasses, but they are out of my league. This, however, is far better than I thought I would be able to pick up. Also - many thanks to the forum member on here who helped and gave me advice regarding this buy - you know who you are!

@coach: Congrats on your new purchases! That Frost is amazing. Was it the one who were on Ebay? It definitely looks better that the pics the seller posted.Just my 2 cents but If I was you i would reframed the Frost in a white box.Love white box frames:)

JB lovely Haring. I actually bought that print at auction a while ago without going into details ended up in a row with the auction house who were really tossy - our friends at Dreweats. Any way ended up not doing the deal. Do regret missing that print though. Lovely piece enjoy. One I missed.
Coach congrats on the Frost lovely looking piece
Likewise congrats to everyone else love these posts good to see what people are buying

Been after a Sickboy OG for ages, but they were always too big and pricey. But this beautiful piece just dropped into my price range after a lot of waiting. It's on reclaimed metal in a walnut frame.

Cheers everyone, it was a long wait for this, but so glad it came through. Sacked: Missed you at Mau Mau, did you go in early? I was keeping an eye out for you. Coach: It is approx 32 X 22cm so just over A4, a perfect size. (Beautiful Frost by the way) Jusdeep: it's time for a beer soon.

Thanks for all the kind comments about the Frost - very much appreciated. Also picked this Borf up some time ago. Difficult to photograph, but have done my best - the lights accross the top of the picture do not exist.
