Barber "Devils" print As a young un, I was more interested in studying "Subway Art" than any book I took home from school. This print is a homage to probably my favourite image in the book, showing Skeme and Des " Entering a yard". They're not prints. I was chatting to him on saturday in Blackpool and he doesn't do prints, just sprays which is even more amazing value for money. Was doing A5 sprays for £2 each. I got a few pieces off him, the one he was working on was awesome - some of his stencilled work is a bit too figurative for my tastes but I'm guessing he's moving into a less realist direction? Good stuff anyway, and a decent fella. |

Love this thread and the fact that it promotes affordable and under the radar art. A couple of contributions Oliver Heard's On The Bench oliverheard.co.uk/On-The-Bench. Found this on Creative Review It's an exploration of how football clubs and the relationships they have with local industries. It's a 100 ed. risograph booklet at £10 and is really nicely put together. I enjoy getting them out there for a decent price. Although I might try and get a gallery involved which will get them from £50 to £10k in a few weeks.

The thing is your work is refreshing to me. It nice to see a bit of hand done stencil spraying rather then some Giclee prints which are a little less personal.
