amazes me that banksy can do something like this in CCTV central (W1) and there still not be any footage or pictures of him in the act....!

are we waging bets to see how long this piece will be put behind perspex.
I cant help but think that he has painted it on this wall cos it is white paint is decaying that it would be hard to preserve it. if someone wanted to.

Sitting at the tables outside the pub opposite the piece. Great view and decent bitter.
I think the flaking paint may be chosen to make sure this one decays and isn't collected.
The rat is superb!

I think there is no deep hidden meaning. No one cares about MBW. Graffiti is illegal because "the man" doesn't like it because of it's possible political message and not because of it's damage to property.

Love it! Great to watch the reactions of passers by - from pin stripe suits, elderly, kids, cabbies, vagrants and punk rockers - all taking photos and genuinely amazed that they had seen a 'Banksy'! The barmaid across the road, who had never heard of him, went and watched Exit and now feels so privileged that she works opposite it.
