drowned was the best image there imo. you have impeccable taste charlie. second fave was the light box one of a couple keeping warm round a light cigarette in black and white.
class show.

top show - lots selling, even the massive ones on metal at 4.5k pounds..... gave in and bought a smallish one - Drowned ed of 15. Future classic I reckon. On the Andipa site they only have the Eds of 5 available. Out of curiousity how much were the Eds of 15? Great purchase, by the way

Great purchase, by the way they were £950+vat I think. there were pretty much editions of 3 for the large metal ones, editions of 5 for 120cm, edition of 15 for 80cm (I think that is the dimensions) also, physical installations incl the 'They're not Pets Susan' classic. (apparently in an edition size only limited by the number of available bees, according to Slink ) will post more photos shortly...

Just got back from the show. So glad I made the trip from Suffolk. Some terrific work. I'll sort through some pictures and post them later. Did anyone pick up the limited edition of 100, signed and numbered 'Concrete Ocean' book and 'Animals' print? Slinkachu told me that he's gonna hold back 50 for his website.

his photographic composition is close to perfection. the locations he choses seem so considered. listen to me getting all poncy.......how a picture of tiny plastic figure holding an umbrella can stop you in your tracks and stir an emotion is what does it for me....great stuff some top images. theres another reward if you look close enough. like the graf knob on the easter island figure or the child hanging from the helter skelter......he's having fun with it. thats what its all about. wiz you have to see them in the flesh to get a sense of how effing small the figures really are.
did anyone else notice the earbud seesaw installation moved?

God I just discovered this guy the other day and I gotta say his stuff is awesome. My favorite is probably Drowned but the fantastic voyage and embers are close in second and third.
Thanks for the pics

It was a great show and had a good time. Went there to look at the new prints and have a couple of free beers but ended up spending £1200...ah well, have to find a good time to tell the wife.

What a brilliant night! I'll try and upload my pics later today. There were so many great pieces and installations. There was a drinks bottle with a naked lady in her bed as an installation. I thought it was pretty cool in itself but it was pointed out to me that i needed to read the labels on it. Fantastic twist! You'll see what i mean when i load the pics.
Well done Slinkachu and well done Andipa!
