Who paid the most for a Neate print, save for the portraits. I will get the ball rolling...2k!

Wasn't it the case that the portraits used to go for £10K ish for the pair? Whilst in hindsight that was nuts it's still weird that secondary market prices are so low and there isn't more support.
If I had the money, I think I'd buy a few more tho' but a good original is way, way beyond my means.

Hindsight is a great thing, I paid way too much for a 2am blog I did pick up a deep end and notv for a lot less so it's not all bad. Was tempted to buy a red self portrait a little while back, but trying to deplete rather than grow my collection at the moment ;D

i was going to buy the white and red at peak, decided against it thankfully. Still not sure when to pull the trigger on them though. How low can they go. Me thinks there at the lowest point now or very soon

I have a few of Adams prints and they are lovely some of my favourite in my collection. I was lucky to get them at a fairly good cost.
I feel that Adam goes of the radar (not many shows talk from the gallery and himself) and people forget about this talent, He does not release any lower end art Originals/prints for his fans to get hold of so its quite hard for people to collect his art. That and it does not help the very slow out put of work and shows that he does. Even though when you do get to see his stuff he blows your mind.
It would be great if he fixed his website and updated that regularly. Im sure Elms could help him with this.

Adam Neate is my favorite artist and although its nice to think that what you have on your walls is worth at least what you paid for it. Truthfully I only bought them to look at(which takes cost out of the equation). Which I do with mine alot. I do have to sell one of my Neates to create space for my family portrait, which probably means that TWC will have to go. Which IMO is the best of the lot. But I'll do everything I can to find someone to look after it before I sell. I paid £2k for PWG and around or under cost for the rest. They are prints with such beauty and some with lots of meaning. IMO is the best artist of this scene by a country Mile. I have two doodles dedicated to me, they're originals. But as Lurkerstd says I'll never get near being able to afford or justify buying an Elms Original. Be interesting to be able to travel forward in time 200 years and see how the originals on cardboard look. Maybe they will look the same, but i fear the cardboard won't stand the test of time, even though I love the use of it. Thats why I am happy with my prints and doodles. they'll last at least my lifetime(which will hopfully be a few more years yet)

i honestly would rather not sell it at this price, but I need to rid quick, besides I have another.....but people just ain't willing to pay the value, I cannot see how people say when you try and sell for cost price, you are told you are being unrealistic on the figure......

Cracking piece - those who can do................
Personally, the smokers, (if this is what it was called) was the most breathtaking piece I can recall seeing....so I'm a big fan.

I'd say that you're giving it away already.
Perhaps e-bay will get a larger audience and possibly higher sale price - aside from Banksy fever at Christmas the traffic slows.......(I think).
