Hey guys, I'm thinking about selling my signed Banksy VLH for some needed extra cash, and wanted to ask what price I should aim for. I'm not needing top-top dollar per se, but rather what's a fair price for this print these days. In case it helps, I'm the original owner and the print hasn't yet been framed. I've just been holding onto it until I was ready to frame it and a bunch of other artwork and never got around to it. Now I'm possibly, with reluctance, letting go of it. Thanks for any advice, as always.

Thanks spanksy. So that's a fair price for both buyer and seller?

eduarandres, did you feel you got it for your friend for "a steal" or did you feel that was about right at this time for the print?

£3k is bang the right price. The right price is whatever someone will pay for it. Throw it up on the Bay and let the public decide.

Do you live in a Caravan? If one of these went on the Bay I reckon it would finish slightly north of £3k

Thanks for the input (and the laugh) guys This may sound a tad crazy, but I hesitate to put it on eBay on account of having had a bad experience buying a Banksy print on eBay in the past. I may go that route, but if I get a good someone on here wanting to buy it, that should be the way to go. I've been on here a long time (tho clearly not too active for a while!). Over the years I've traded prints with good forum folks and never had a problem. I bought a Banksy on eBay and I had a problem. Banksy forum rules! ;D Anyway, sounds like around 3K GBP is fair on both sides for this print these days, eBay or not.

BTW, I wanted to clarify to everyone that I live in the U.S., not UK based. I'm sure that'll sweeten the deal for some and be a bummer for others. I'll reply to all of the PMs asap today. I really appreciate the advice and interest. Thanks all!

Do you live in a Caravan? If one of these went on the Bay I reckon it would finish slightly north of £3k I'd say £2.5k - £2.75k. That is based on my opinion and is in no way based on any fact. Do feel it's about right though

I'd say it depends on how quick you want a deal.
If its asap then 2K and you can have the cash tomorrow. The closer to 3k you want the longer you will have to sit it out.
Give me a PM if you want a quick deal, although I bet I'm not the only one.

I would definitely say that if you were to try your luck on Ebay it would sell upwards of 3k, probably a lot more. Don't know if I would take the risk with mine, but offers above 3k would seem fair. One of Mr B's best of recent years. Hope you get what you're looking for.

As said before there are only 299 of these with no known variants making it one of Banksys smaller editions of an image. Not to mention that this image is one of his best IMO. Iconic and meaningful.

Blimey. Seeing the Banksy price rises is starting to depress me a bit... The more this stuff goes up, the less likely it is I'll be able to afford to buy more prints.
I suppose I've been quite lucky with my collection so I mustn't grumble. Either way, I wouldn't part with my VLH.

Guys, really appreciate all of the advice (and kind words). I'm also getting some "Whatta you crazy?! You LOVE Banksy, you can't sell this! Find extra money somewhere else, dammit! You're gonna regret this..." advice, which is like getting cold water poured over your head. I'm stewing on this now.

Tho I'm not complaining since I'm lucky enough to have one. My Lord that's a lot. Must be due to all of the new interest in Banksy from around the world due to Exit being nominated for an Oscar?

Could be a blip but even it was it defiantly raised the bar from 2.7k-3K to more like 4.5k-5K.
