Roll and Tumble "You Are Here" Roll and Tumble Press This is a hand turned combo of set metal type and lino cut produced in an exclusive colourway for POW by Roll and Tumble Press. It's also the kind of nifty valentines gift that will virtually guarantee you intercourse with the person who receives it. Roll and Tumble Press are based in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. They are a charming painter turned letterpress printer and an Art school dropout turned tattoo artist who bonded over a love of music, quirky collections and dusty junk shops. They live in a big drafty house with three rescue dogs. 5 colour letterpress with lino cut and set metal type. Hand-printed on true white French Paper. 30 x 45cm Edition: 175 £45.00 www.picturesonwalls.com/Art_Artists.asp?Artist=Roll%20and%20Tumble%20Press&Offset=0&PageNo=1

There's more work on the etsy.. Not bad but personally my other half would beat me with the tube if I ever bought her a print for valentines.

Arse. Firstly I bought it when I got the email, thinking it would be a cool 'very me' gift for the wife on Valentines. Now I log on here, see I could have got it for £16 not £45 and now also fear of a good 'tubing' from my beloved. Boooooooo!

Not bad but personally my other half would beat me with the tube if I ever bought her a print for valentines. I once bought mine a print for V day, thinking she'd really like it. She really didnt. The only art related piece i've bought her she actually liked was one of datas roses about 2 years back.....

Always makes me laugh when people feed their print addiction by buying "presents" for their partners or kids. It works when you both share the same taste though. I buy prints for the missus, safe in the knowledge that she'll love them, and we share the same walls They are 'hers' though, of course

earlier they were shown as being sold out - now they have a few more for sale - like i said earlier, the Etsy prints are unnumbered, so they are just adding more to cash in on the POW release. Even though the POW edition is a little more expensive, at least I know it IS from a limited edition, its numbered and signed

Joe V- do you know that as a fact. It doesn't say either way if it is signed and numbered or not. I picked one up from the Etsy shop, because I like the grey background more than the POW background. I've wanted this since POW released the image in the M&S catalogue. ----- Edit- just got a response from them on their Etsy site- It is not signed. (but if you ask nicely....)

From Etsy listing- ........a perfect way to tell your significant other JUST where they stand. This hand-printed 12x18 letterpress poster features an original Roll&Tumble illustration and five color lino cut, hand carved by yours truly, paired with hand set vintage metal type. All this is lovingly printed by hand , one color at at time, in charcoal gray, pale yellow, red, blue and black onto French 80# cover, in True White on the ole' Vandercook........

I do find it strange that POW have bought a few full editions from artists that are also sold else where and marked them up to flog, feels lazy and a bit Athena like to me.
