‘Banksy Locations & Tours’ [Vol.1] - A VERY RARE last chance to get a SIGNED & NUMBERED (edition of 22) First edition of this book
HELP ME RAISE ANOTHER £500 FOR THE BIG ISSUE FOUNDATION BY BUYING A RARE ORIGINAL 1st EDITION OF THIS LONG RUNNING BOOK.
ALL MONEY GOES TO THE BIG ISSUE FOUNDATION
This 1st Edition was released in December 2006, when only 1,500 copies of it were printed.
Aided by my pimp Sam I've recently found some copies of the original 1st edition, and considering how slow sales have been of the new 4th edition of this book I really now feel a pressing need to boost the donations I've been making to the Big Issue Foundation (registered charity No. 1049077). Over the last 4 years I have donated over £27,500 to them so far, via various fundraising initiatives (mainly book sales), but recently it has slowed a lot and it needs help...
So.... after finding these books I had a cunning idea to do a small limited edition for anyone as geeky as I am and who really wants a copy of this mega rarity, the fabled 1st edition... What you get for your £23 -
- A Signed (by me, Martin Bull, not by Banksy!) & Numbered (edition of 22) First Edition Book - Letter of Authenticity from myself - A very rare A6 flyer, which relates to the first edition and is now well out of date, but still a nice little memento * - A warm and fuzzy feeling at helping me to give money to The Big Issue Foundation
* The first 15 orders will also get a very rare A4 press release / poster, relating to the first edition which is great for geeky collectors like me, or paper aeroplane makers The only reason that not all 22 will get this is because I've suddenly realised I've only got 15 left!
What I contribute -
- ALL of the £23 will go to the Big Issue Foundation (registered charity No. 1049077). - I will pay all eBay and paypal fees myself, so that ALL of your £23 goes to them - I ask you to pay the EXACT postage charge, but I will pay for the packaging, and I promise not to earn even one penny from the P&P.
PLEASE NOTE - The 1st edition was a bit rubbish, with a flimsy cover, so don't be too disappointed. LOL. It was DIY publishing and we were all still learning! The photos were improved in later editions, and the 4th edition is also a complete re-write and re-design.
ISBN - 978-0-9554712-0-9 Size - 125 x 168 x 11mm 168 pages, 3 x drawings, circa 100 photos
Thanks, ordered one already and looking forward to getting it, I can put it next to my well thumbed 2nd edition ;D Also it is a great act of kindness from you to give all of the money to The Big Issue, it is a pity not all are as compassionate and selfless as you.
Got my 'Banksy Locations & Tours’ [Vol.1]- Special 1st edition today, Thanks I am really happy with it ;D. Also got the 4th edition, it will be interesting comparing them to see then and now and how much change there has been (sadly to much and now they hardly get a chance for the paint to dry ) I have the warm fuzzy feeling promissed already and thanks for donating the money to The Big Issue. I will have to find someone to give my dog eared 3rd edition to now.
