You're bigging this work up mason, I'm almost intrigued by it. Is it some kind of sculpture? I can't imagine the sale of a painting generating that sort of income, unless masonstorm is not masonstorm but a far bigger fish with an alias. Look Mason, you are going to do what you are going to do, and that's your choice. But coming on a Banksy forum (where there are lots of people who clearly care about Banksy and his works) and shamelessly promoting "the big reveal" with a dismissive and nonchalant attitude is just out of order.
At the least, have respect for the fact that a lot of people on here, completely disagree with what you are doing, and go and promote your work elsewhere.

I care about Banksy in as much as i have an interest in his work and like what he does. And thats broadly the same as everyone else here. That doesnt mean i like all his work, or think he is the best artist in the world. But it certainly does mean that im not stupid enough to start off arguments or wind people up over him.
You are being deliberately provocative coming on here and trying to mix it up, purely to get publicity for your work. Whilst that's bad enough, I wouldnt care if you were coming on here to debate banksy the artist, the virtues of his work or anything else, but you're doing something quite different.
Like I said, do what you're going to do, do the big reveal and what not, but just promote it somewhere else, without deliberately trying to wind people up here. At least that way you'll be able to hold your exhibit with an ounce of pride.

It's like being back in school, but half as funny and twice as irritating. i can honestly say i havent heard someone pull out the "he's my friend not yours ha ha ha" line since i was 14..
