Both look awesome HS. How long did you have to queue? 200 miles away meant it was not an option for me but pretty jealous not to be able to add to the collection with these two.

Both look awesome HS. How long did you have to queue? Queued for 1 hour... certainly long enough in that snow storm! Down the framers now, so will post picks in a week or 2.

Dran was really nice in person, spent a fair amount of time drawing in each book. Chatted a bit about the kid with 3D glasses he used in a few of his pieces, gave him a cyan and a red crayon and off he went Was also nice to see his "team" screen printing bookmarks for £10 that all goes to charity. To me the bookmark was nicer than the b&w learning to fly print. Attachments:

It was well worth the wait IMO, even tho we all covered in snow. The Q was nice as well, had some friendly chat with the poor girl who was freezing cold and an american lad in front of me. No need to say plenty of people were asking what we are queuing for and how much the stuff are worth :S

So disappointed all week after (inevitably) missing out on CYW, meeting Dran certainly made up for it, seemed a really a nice person, almost humble! Stunning drawings in both mine and my sons books. Worth queing in the snow for. I think his work is so underrated and it was an interesting mix of people in attendance. No stampede either....refreshing

So does anyone know if they actually had some color ones for sale on the website or they just listed to clarify it was sold out? I was really hoping as I wanted to snag a color online if I had the chance! Oh well, another print I wanted that wasn't able to get haha.

I think they may of sold out quite early, I was about 30th in line and asked for No. 5 if available but the guy behind the counter said he had got it himself, fair enough though, I got one in mid 30's, lady I spoke to later said she had only managed to get a B&W after arriving late

By the time I got there around 12:45, they only had 5 colour prints left. Bought a book and got it signed by Dran and he drew some pictures in it.

I guess that makes me feel a little better... I passed on the b/w white release online yesterday in hopes I could manage to get the color at some point in time. I have a feeling most of these are staying with their buyers though so it might be hard to get one in the secondary. Thanks for the responses everyone!

The black and white are also stunning! Wonder what the prize will be for the postcard competion, not that I have much chance of winning with my pitiful entries.

Also bookmarks being sold that were being printed downstairs, Dran signed them as well. Dran spent quite a bit of time with each person, talking, drawing and signing the book. All in all a good event.

You may be right about the secondary market as the lady behind me had said she was desperate for a colour version, I did not have the heart to tell her I had got one, I was surprised as she was older and had a continental accent. She also said her son had got her into street art, as she had always collected more classical pieces and she loved Drans work. Some always appear on eBay (which also can be quite handy if reasonably priced or a must have). Mine for the record will be for my 9 month old son for his first Christmas, as after he was born his hunger cry sounded like a little bird and that's what my wife called him. I instantly thought of that when first seeing the piece in M&S and could not believe how apt it was, will love seeing it on his bedroom wall.

I somehow managed to miss the bookmarks, too busy trying to spot my postcard entries. I could only see one of them, must be hundreds of them now!
