POW - Storage of older prints?, by ksedge on Dec 29, 2010 2:28:56 GMT 1, Does anyone know how POW stores the prints that have not sold for some time? I just picked up the Steve Powers Everafter print and I know it's been up for sale for a long time. I can't imagine it's been in a tube the whole time.
I saw in old POW photos that they're all on shelves. Anyone know if that's still the case?
Thanks for any info!

POW - Storage of older prints?, by des77 on Dec 29, 2010 2:35:05 GMT 1, I presume its still the same. They would need a huge space just to store the tubed prints otherwise, how did the print react when you removed it from the tube ?

They still store them flat until sold. You can choose to pick up flat or they'll roll and tube it for you. I live close enough that I always pick up flat now it's an option ;D

POW - Storage of older prints?, by ksedge on Jan 1, 2011 16:31:44 GMT 1, Thanks for the help guys! I just ordered it the other day so it won't get to me in Canada for while. We'll see how it looks when it comes out of the tube.

POW - Storage of older prints?, by ksedge on Feb 3, 2011 17:04:12 GMT 1, got the print the other day so i thought i would update this for the random people that might see it. the print was rolled extremely tight and shipped in a very small tube (which i've heard is standard for POW). the paper is super thick so it'll take some time to flatten out i presume.
the steve powers print itself is amazing in my opinion. the colors, including the black, are phenomenal and it almost looks hand done. i was expecting the lines around the letters to be perfect but they're not, which makes it look more original. i love it.
i was not impressed with how long it took to get here though. i ordered it on dec. 29th and i understand that it was the holidays and it's a big time for them but it didn't even ship out until over half way through january. i ordered it for a valentine's gift and now i'm rushing to get it framed in time. you'd think that with a print like this that's there and not sold out it would move quickly. maybe it's the opposite.
anyway, that's the update.
