@ stanley. You seem to have a bit of an attitude problem. If you are so concerned about this print then maybe you should have bought it. How about you go offload your anger somewhere else because I am happy with my print whether it's going to make money or not. Thankyou

Ya your right, the Teddy has alot more going for it and a its such a smaller edition...... Get the dick out of your ass dude. I could care less what you think, I scored it and am happy with it. Stanley, your post really is rather lame and well it just makes you look like a TOOL that has no experience dealing with Dolk prints or any prints for that matter that cost more then say Obey crap....$305 is a fair amount for this print and if you were to sell it on the ebay lets say it would definately go for more then you paid for it evrytime......

gonzo, didnt ask you to care what i think. Just stating you were hyping. Noticed you didnt deny it. Lets see how long you are happy with it. Now put the dick back in your mouth & stop talking.
swamped, you look the tool fella. Think you should do abit of research before posting. Obey?! Dont make me laugh. I had a teddy riot and sold it for a big profit. On receipt i knew i wasnt going to frame it so it went. Like i said ive got enough framed dolksand if anyone pays over cost they are mental in the face.
nathzz, no attitude problem. Just can see through peoples intentions to hype. If you want to keep it then congrats at picking up a Dolk. I could have bought it but it knew i didnt want it. Didnt keep teddy riot, so there was no way i would keep this.
Dont want to comment any further on this print. It is what it is.

anyway, back to the conversation eh?
I for one am really pretty surprised this sold out so quick (kitty).
Prison Painter was around for more than a few hours and it seems most on the forums prefer that.
Obviously we don't represent the whole population of Dolk collectors.

Your the man stanley guess you showed us.. Eh? Look at the thread. I was just commenting. You decided to name call. Thanks for showing us your brain age. Phearloathing, i was surprised it went that quick also. But i honestly do believe it was alot to do with peeps wanting to flip due to similarities between this and teddy riot. Hoping to receive another Dolk in the post next week. But not a recent release.

I'm not surprised that the Riot Kitty sold so fast... December hype machine always gets people carried away and prints sell fast... happens every year that the rtraffic on this ie increases as there is a sniff of a Banksy print... people buy stuff that they probably wouldnt do normally
My advice is stay cool pre Xmas dont get swept up in all the hype... if you love a print and miss it there is always a flood of art on F;eabay in January as people get buyers remorse and credit card bills through

I was hoping that the Kitty would hang around all morning but missed it. I think if you look at the number of guests on this forum (3K) to members posting, a few negatives is never a concensus.

There's a LOT of new Norwegian buyers for Dolk's work these days. He's had a lot of publicity this year including national TV airings. I know people buying it who wouldn't have known where to look this time last year.

I was actually wondering whether something like that had happened. The prints are more expensive, bigger editions and some would argue weaker images but they sell out quicker.
Considering they sell out quickly there aren't all that many on eBay UK either so I figured it was the Brooklynite show or the work which appeared at Oslo and Trondheim stations earlier in the year.

Brooklynite (US), Lowlife Group Show, Oslo/Trondheim stations, Kaviar Factory show (Lofoton), Nuart, Bergen Art Museum group show..as well as a long feature alongside Nuart on Kunstgalleriet (Norway's national arts program) and the release of the book Streetart Norway. All of this has raised his profile here significantly. He's in the equivalent of the Saatchi collection too.. some serious dealers buying.

My missus bought me my first Dolk piece for Christmas last year... Living in Bergen, i see his pieces on the streets pretty much everyday (that i leave the house) and its nice to have at home as a reminder! However i was a member of this forum before moving to Norway and i think it would have taken a bit more investigation to find out about new releases etc if i wasn't on here most days finding out about all this new art that i can't afford! Dolk and Pobel seem to be in the Norwegian press on a regular basis, they/he keeps active so he's never far away! But i think you need to have a keen interest in street art etc before it would really make much of an impact... I've spoken to a few people from Bergen about it and to them its just some cool pictures dotted around town... But the art-ethuz's are the ones who enjoy a good chat about it all...

A Bergenite..sweet, how come you moved over ? let me guess, a woman ;-).. there's a few Dolk Stencils (The actual Stencil) on show at Bergen Kunsthall at the moment if you didn't already know.

Was it packed well? Long enough tube? rolled in craft paper this time?
Prison painter came in way to short of a tube with only a thin white piece of paper used for backing (twice).
Expecting my third replacement and kitty riot any day now ; )
Annette at HMP has been really great about it all though!
