I picked up the unsigned kit up aswell, really like the simplicity of red & white + the smaller tiles. The mosiac tiled book looks good but too pricey for me. I was hoping for a new print but I guess his recent POW release is more than adequate for now.

I still don't get why he keeps signing the cellophane and not add a signed certificate for ex that would suit framing. and that yellow stamp ruins the cellophane thing.

I was thinking that... why on earth would I pay more 150€ for a cellophane signed by Invader? I think I will pass this one and stay with my Invader Earth on the wall as the only invader. Still loving the Earth...

Do these come in a rigid format?
I am actually quite tempted by one of these. I can see not reason to buy the signed one for an extra E150.
So if you buy an original from a gallery it costs £2k+ and it might be signed on the back or may not be (I have seen both). Yet these cost E200. Can someone explain what I am missing?
Of course my first question might answer that. Are these a do it yourself kit?

this is the first time i have ever bought a kit. i like the way it looks framed, but i was wondering if you guys would know if the following idea would work out... in my humble lair, i have a corner of my room that is bricks and looks like, well, the street. (used to be a fireplace). Do you think the tiles will stand the test of time on this if i so choose to put it up there? i think it will give it that street feel as if it was a piece you see on your walks...
tho i guess i cant bring it with me when i move...

i had a vienna one / which was micro pieces and they fell off... not good I've found no such problems with my Vienna tile, but then again I framed it. Do you mean they fell off the backing stuff? That is meant to be ripped off when you tile it to a wall or piece of glass for framing.

I bought a invaderoma limited and asked about the plexiglas box that allow to hang them on a wall. I got a very fast answer: they cost 75€.

How different would this be than buy some tiles and stick them to the wall? 10 euros cost?
Aren't this just tiles?
I am not diminishing Invader work by any means. I love and admire Invader work but in times of crisis...

I would never think of that... Compare a ceramic tile with a ceramic tile is exactly the same as compare a screenprint with a photocopy. Why are Invader ceramic tiles different from the other ceramic tiles?

You could mount it on wood cut to size and then have it on the bricks?? would still look like it does on the street, but you can remove it when you want.
i hope you bought an unsigned kit, never really understood the signed ones, you take it out the pack to enjoy it and its now unsigned!

Why are Invader ceramic tiles different from the other ceramic tiles? Well i mean at the end of the day, u are paying the money for the guy's handiwork, his thought process, his artistic merit and him thinking of doing what hes doing before you did and him getting up across the world pasting this all over. You are buying a piece of his whole artistic movement i guess. Invaders ceramic tiles arent different from other ceramic tiles (i might be wrong?) but then again, Duchamp's urinal really isnt very different from anyone else's urinal from the 1910s. And Banksy's unsigned prints arent printed on any special paper or use any special ink (as far as I know). B&W trollies is just that black ink on heavy stock arty paper. I could go down to an art shop and pick those up. Go to POW's website get the trollies image off there, make a little screen and screenprint it all for about £50 or less? Would you buy that from me? or would you prefer a banksy unsigned trollies?
