He's hardly been churning out prints recently though has he.

2007 - four releases - Morons, Trolleys, Stop and search, Gold flags

2008 - two releases - Nola and VLH

2009 - two releases - Donuts and NBG

2010 - no releases yet.

Hardly prolific when you compare him to numerous other artists who release countless prints or editions - Hirst, Peter Blake, Murakami, Koons, Tracey Emin etc etc.

I think he's looking after his career just fine.

Maybe he sits there in a regal chair in front of Google analytics watching the hits on POW server until it crashes, smoking tabs and drinking fine wine in a crystal glass....flicking ash on Metcalfs back who is on his hands and knees under his foot as a stool, whilst using old rolled up nick walkers to relight his rollie. A lingering look on his face as he still wonders what the feck to do with the 10,000 cam corder films he has back in his mums garage, whos getting right testy by the way as the old fella cant get his car door open any more when he reverses it in. Most of the films are no longer viewable cos the technology has moved on, but it was part of the deal that he take them, and Dave from way back is going through them one by one cos it was rumoured that MBW's misses was well hot in the day and there's loads of bedroom footage which just got stashed with the rest. Was costing a fortune at the local film to dvd specialist.
Having watched the server go down twice he would get up with an happy grin knowing full well that there would be hell up on on the forum...maybe leave it a bit till it gets to eighteen pages and then insult the feckers with a bit of bongo wisdom. A smile would cross over his face, as he kicked Metcalf over and went to meet 45rpm and sickboy down at the black swan, hadnt caught up in a while and feckers always had some good puff....

I think his popularity has gone further through the roof this year after the movie, bristol show etc.. I dont think prints will be available on a first come/first served basis as there will be a huge crowd there. Only way is by lottery. Then there will be the usual s**t fight on ebay for a few weeks

ahhh yes, I do love the smell of greenbacks in the morning. And as I go to sleep on my big bed of money, with many beautiful ladies, I will look back on this moment and think "I can't believe I got sucked into an exchange of posts with freerange by my 61st post, I always thought I'd make it to at least a 100"

Just to clarify, am I supposedly a flipper? where do these sniffed out bucks, snuffled like a pig looking for truffles, appear on my bank balance? or am i just an all round badguy because I don't post in the threads about X factor?

Do they email out the date/time it's going up or do they just appear unannounced?

It will be lottery form mate, so they'll show the image, and say enter your details here. Then they'll randomly choose names and they get to buy.

From memory VLH, NBG and Nola were all around december (i think nola was late nov).

Donuts was july tho....

I would like to see the stained glass on my wall, but don't think it will be a print. For 2 reasons. It was used as advertising and he seems to avoid printing that many colors (maybe to keep cost/price down for the common folk in the balcony).
