Classic 'British' moment occurred when someone was told the rack of POW logo screen prints by the door were free, three or four of us were standing by them not prepared to be the first to grab one (you know, just in case we'd miss heard and would get rugby tackled to the ground for touching them). Safe to say someone went for it, didn't get chucked out, so the feeding frenzy began
very good and how very British - Great!

Nice looking folio and POW logo free print! Looks like it was a good night.
The Crack image was for sale during the print show at the High Roller Society a few months ago along with a few other Insect one offs or APs.

So the "free print" is Eine and not Banksy then? Sounds like POW were havin a laugh telling people it was Banksy, knowing it would cause a bit of a riot ;D

Nice, I likey, interesting that it's a hand coloured digital print rather than a screen print. Wonder how many English beer tokens it went for?

its a sweet folio, its a very very good price at £450 - price works out at approx. £112 per print (4 x with matching numbers) - with lots of free goodies, a signed book(ish) - and a unique handsprayed stencil paperbag to boot.

so more than one artist has done a very similar version of the Pow logo - that's confusing and a little odd - I'm guessing Banksy's would be the original?

I think they get a new artist to paint their logo every now and then nex. I remember the Insect and Eine versions, Sickboy's is the latest one. But as you say Banksy may well have been the first.

The first record of the skull-and-crossbones design is found in a December 6, 1687 entry in a log book held by the Bibliothèque nationale de France. The entry describes pirates using the flag, not on a ship but on land
Good ole wiki...

Having seen the Insect portfolio today, they are definitely better in the flesh. For what you get the price is probably not bad, but it's decent money. The very nicest bits, the box and the sprayed stencil bag, make sure you get those.
My favorite, the set of POW busines cards.

I think it's way overpriced. You can get the 'zines separately for £30. The stickers are cool but would never get used. The prints are not very exciting imo (quite like the fly one), all in a cardboard box with a nice cover. £450! Really? Might change my mind if I saw it in the flesh but I doubt it.

Yeah, I mean I'm a Big Insect fan but this isn't really doing it for me I like the fly image, but the rest dunt really look like its up to his high standards £450 for Insect box set £250 for Sickboy box set I know what I would go for
