Just looked on the obey site after seeing the 11th hour post. Looks like there's gonna be an Obey show in November at Stolen Space.

the man is a legend. extremely productive, super loyal to fans, still true to his vision, with constant stream of work (some good, some so so) but still always delivering...
even though he'd made more money doing 3 prints a year at £600 each...
for this show... most are in edition of 5 or less....it's as close to a Shepard's original as you can get... (aside from buying an original...)
on wood and metal. go see the show... celebrate Shepard's righteous SPIRIT!

me too managed to grab one of the screen prints on alum, amazing show, great space! most of it was sold by the time i got there at 6pm! all the guys and gals at stolen were very helpful and friendly!

just back from the show.....an amazing space to have a show, huge. i really like obey stuff but have decided that i like to see it on the street where it seems to come to life rather than in a sterile enviroment of a gallery/show, that said well worth a visit. Thanks to Yomster for the blag in...good to see mr & mrs mammal (when are you joining us / you know you want to) c**ktail count low (none) beer count high  here are a few snaps i took but they are not great as the industrial lighting was not too bright.      more to follow |

ok just a few more...  this one i like on brushed steel or ali  Yomster pointing out the shiny stuff. Big up the Yomster ;D  finally shep on the wheels of steel (on his laptop does not have the same ring)  i think it will be a party down there tomorrow night....go check it out. |

Looks like after all these years lurking on this forum someone has managed to unmask me by photographing me in front of the "peace goddess" pondering on whether or not it would look good in my bathroom A great show though gutted to have missed out on the Casto and doubly gutted that human error led to them overselling the "War is over" print by one. Anyway, a quick hello after all this time. Incidently, have I broken a record for lurking the longest before posting (I'm sure I joined pre Grim Reaper release)? |
