Is this a continuation of the brainwash backlash then?
Anyone else think its a bit odd to go on about an artist stealing your ideas when some of your ideas are stolen in the first place?? Or is it just me...
Edit - not all of his work is taken from the web so i take that back, but some is....

Sorry i phrased that wrongly, and i shouldnt have said all his work as some of his pieces are his own entirely. I mean his images are often taken from the web, without any credit to the original source or photographer.

My point is not that he's lifted ideas, just that he keeps banging on about brainwash stealing his, i personally think its about time he got over it. No offence to Rene, i like some of his stuff, just IMO enough is enough. (this is with my view that this latest print is another 'piss take' out of MBW of course) |

the internet will expose all shortcuts if artists aren't careful. It's no crime. Just doesn't seem as impressive when the process becomes exposed i feel.

I think it was pretty obviously identical, just like all of the pics he's used for recent releases can be found on the internet with 5 mins of searching google. What ever happened to drawing? Surely it cant be that hard to draw a little girl holding a spray paint can painting a wall?? my arthritic cat mittens could whip it up if i gave her a pencil she could hold....
