I've been following this forum for a while, but this is my first post! Just opened my streetart site for beta testing today, which aims to collect all streetart related info in one place. And on its first day it proved its value! Log-in using your twitter account to: beta.advers.comthen go to: beta.advers.com/tag/Banksyon the right-hand side you'll see a bunch of pictures from twitter. Some of the user submitted photos of the new Banksy captures a sign mentioning "Southwark Council". So it looks like this one is in London! |

Love it. As one member has said I think its all in the juxtaposition of the two pieces. Having recently had a run in with a yob with two Japanese fighting dogs I personally find the image extremely apt. As a dog lover I am constantly disturbed by the way a small element of society use certain dogs as an extension of their persona. It is of course the owners fault not the dogs. Its the use of Harings innocent childlike dog image with the hooded yob that delivers that very message to me. |

Which other famous artists has Banksy collaborated / related his work to? I can think of Warhol, Hirst, Koons, and now Haring - any others?

Fear not H, my last Staffie had a run in with an idiot owner and his Akita and sorted it out no problem, also sorted a couple of Rotties out in same week, that was a busy week for him, he was a fast little Bugger (now sadly passed away poor old Jack).

Fragile out of UK at present Walshy.
