Yeah, they are small sized. But the Paper Tiger people tend to do a great job with their prints so I'm sure they'll look great in the flesh. However, I personally would have preferred these images: RPM

Looks like amazing prints - would have loved them to be bigger though- but often the artist knows best. Looks cool on the cardboards though

And a pen mark right across the boarder? These may be proofs.

Thats how they come, taped onto card. Would be my guess too Wiz, fits the description. However, they could be proofs as spenie says.

I guess there are not many other ways to hand finish a 7 inch print. Could still have done with being at least 50% cheaper though

The description on those links say...
Artist: Herakut Title: Everybody's Friend is Everybody's Fool Edition Size: 20 Size: 7" x 7" print mounted on 8.5" x 11" cardboard
Signed and Numbered Edition Prints Printed on archival textured fine art paper One of three new prints selected from Herakut's most recent and very successful show in Los Angeles. The prints were all taped to sheets cardboard and hand embelished by the artists for that unique Herakut feel. Definitely one of a kind.
So i'd guess those were as they send them out. I think it's an interesting change in direction for their prints, and an attempt to make their work more affordable to people visiting the show.
I had a sellskins print and found that it didn't give their technique enough justice as they weren't detailed enough - but i think the lithos that they had been doing more recently were lovely but not that true to their gallery and street work.
I would guess that this new way of prints is detailed enough to potentially show more of the details, although i'd agree that the 7x7 size is probably too small to do the pieces justice.
I guess you would frame them as they appear above which although messy would make these prints a little bit different.

I dunno about that Silky, wall space is at a premium once you have a few of your favourites framed up, I think that small prints for the right pieces is great

I just think these would have been real killer prints at 50x50 or 70x70 Something that would really stand out.

Saw these in the flesh yesterday, not impressed at all but then I'm very anal about framing
Going to the trouble of using archival art paper and then using i assume non-archival card and tape. What's all that about??
