it's the same with boredom and lavender those books were limited to a few thousand (2000?) and there are so many different silkscreen covers there might be fewer not silkscreened books  but in the end thumbs up to faile for selling the signed edition for the regular retail price |

messy is what we all love about faile innit true. i just think they should clarify in advance so people can make decisions. think i'll shoot them an e-mail actually. Have you had a reply Ross? |

not yet. it was labour day yesterday so i'm sure they've got a bit of catching up to do. can't wait though, all this speculation is making me dizzy!

Right, here goes: The Studio Edition sold through PaperMonster (and eventually through the Faile site) is signed, stamped and embossed. They are the same price as Gestalten' RRP, $69. "We didn't want them to be any more in price but we wanted to give collectors the choice of a signed book from the studio." There isn't a set edition size, though it probably won't be more than 600 books. Lazarides will have 100 (75) books from this edition but they won't be stamped. Artist Edition = 250. Five sets of 50. Front and back covers are two-colour screen-printed. Signed, stamped, embossed and numbered! They also come in a printed box. Lazarides will have a few of each set, apart from one. $250/€200/£175 There's also going to be a small book launch/print show in NYC from 16th-18th and books will be available there too. The online release probably won't be until after the launch events. |

I'm glad I went for the PM copy now, £175 is a bit much IMO, even if it is screenprinted covers
Got my FedEx shipping confirmation today so hopefully wont be long before I have my sticky mitts on the book
