I am a detective who handles art theft and art fraud investigations for the Los Angeles Police Department. I am conducting a criminal investigation involving Daniel Lahoda who goes by the business names of Lahoda Fine Arts and Jetset Graffiti. I am trying to locate anyone who believes they may have been defrauded by Daniel Lahoda. In searching the internet, I noticed there was a thread on the Banksy forum regarding Lahoda possibly defrauding people.

Mr Jetset Graffiti has been emailing me for weeks trying to get me to remove all threads about him. Now its all becomes clear why removal of evidence.

Of course nothing was removed in fact I have been trying to get all the threads in one place - banksyforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=jetsetgraffiti

If you know of anymore threads on the forum involving Jetset that are of interest, please let me know so I can move them over to that board.

would deffinitly be interesting to see if all the posts from people backing him are still on the forum... its things like this that show a time limit on deleting posts could be pretty handy

Silky do you not think it would have been best not to post this message publicly, rather just PM those effected directly. Any information that an investigation is taking place, only tips him off and allows him more time to prepare his defense

I would suggest you remove it and lock this thread

I would suggest you remove it and lock this thread

They need ALL the people effected to contact them, so posting it up on the forum is the best way of doing that, plus they did say "You can post this message to the forum if you like"
Plus, I'm sure he already knows they are on to him by the way he has been trying to push me to remove info about him on the forum.

I bought a Saber "Peppers's World" print from Jetset Graffiti about four months ago. I remember posting about it and somebody made a snide comment. It didn't really sink in until I discovered this thread. I thought Daniel was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Shipped from LA to Ireland in a matter of days. Still one of my favorite pieces. Not sure what are the implications of this news - besides me looking like a t**t. I may even have voted for the gallery in the forums!

Just be grateful your one of the lucky ones that got what they paid for. Don't worry about looking like a t**t on this forum there are many and many that accuse others of being one. You made a genuine decision based on your experiences.
